Due to this unique construction method, these tiles are more durable and slip resistant than standard foam tiles, and like foam tiles, are sound proof, water proof, shock absorbent, and insulating in addition to being light in weight as compared to standard all rubber tiles. These tiles also use are patented interlocking tile design where each foam rubber tile has two removable edge pieces which allows each tile to be either a center, corner, or border tile.Material – Recycled rubber top layer bonded to a closed cell EVA foam rubber base.Size – 2' x 2'Thickness – 3/4" nominal (~18mm) or 3/8" nominal (~9mm)Weight – Each 3/4" tile weighs approximately 4.00 Lbs. or Each 3/8" tile weighs approximately 3.00 Lbs.Recommended Uses – Soft foam rubber tiles have been used successfully as interlocking home gym mats, as inexpensive trade show flooring, in schools, churches, and day care centers for kid’s play mats, and in a variety of other locations where an foam matting with a rubber top surface would be useful to provide cushioning and traction under foot. These mats are not normally recommended for use in commercial gyms or areas where heavy weight equipment will be used since the foam backing will compress a fair amount under heavy weight.

Excellent Quality
Excellent quality. I have used the thinner foam tiles before, which work for core and yoga type activities, but for weights and cardio this floor is ideal. Very similar In appearance and feel to flooring at Orange Theory for example. Very easy to install, but if you want it to go wall to wall perfectly, I can’t imagine doing so without a table saw. If you don’t need to cut any prices, installation is very easy. Even with cutting, it only took a couple of hours to lay 200 sq ft. Odor is strong; we left them outside for a day and a half but wish we could have done longer. These are on the pricey side, but so far they appear to be worth it.

Not good if you have Plantar fasciitis.
I brought this for the reason due my foot injury. If you have Plantar fasciitis, this isn't good. I usually work out bare foot. This thing too solid and hard. I ended up hurt myself more. It maybe good if your goal to have solid flooring in your home gym.As for the smell, it isn't all that bad. I actually get high from smelling it. lol I don't know why i like the smell. A lot people think it's toxic or just plain horrible.I keep it for now, because i think it need to be break in. Maybe, it will get more softer. I will update my review if it get softer or when my Plantar fasciitis heal up.If you went something soft, i suggest getting at the local dick's sporting store. They have brand by Fitness Gear 16 Square Foot Dual-Density Floorguard SKU: 17665064. I tried it out the other day and compare. So, it is much softer for Plantar fasciitis, but the drawback is that smell is car tire rubber meaning, it smell horrible.

Great looking
I covered the cement floor in my garage. Though it took me a few days, this was relatively easy to do by myself. Trimming is best done with a power saw and a Dremel saw. Minimal smell for a few days only (We have the garage door open frequently during the day.) I chose the black with blue speckles which looks great. Dust & dirt do show but are easy to remove by broom or shopvac. However, particles are easy to embed into the flooring when stepped on and require a lot more work to remove. Cannot speak to the durability long term since only recently installed. Overall very pleased.

Very good quality, installed in a few hours
I bought these all though more expensive because of the high rating. Setting up a home gym in spare room and wanted the mats to last! The quality is good, thick and sturdy. I did it myself with a razor blade to finish the corners. A little tough to cut because good quality but a razor blade works. Measure well- I shorted myself and I had to do a lot is piece work in the corners I could have avoided my ordering extra

Excellent flooring.
Looks great, and is easy to install. The pieces fit together beautifully, and when you're finished, you have to look close to tell it's not one piece. Seems like good quality too. The grey flecks of color are a nice touch, and match my equipment nicely.

EXTREMELY TOXIC SMELLING
We purchase IncStores Soft Rubber Interlocking Gym Tiles - Perfect mats for home gyms, Insanity, P90X, aerobic, cardio, and plyometric workouts (Blue 10%, 3/4" Tiles (20 Tile Pack) for a basement workout room on 8/5/2018. They smell horrible. I put the ceiling fan and portable fan on for the day; increased the air conditioning and put a huge box of Arm and Hammer. They still stink! Not exactly what you want to breath in when you are trying to increase your lung capacity!

Sometimes feels hard as a brick - caused Plantar fasciitis for me
These floor mats are not soft at all, and caused painful plantar fascitis for me after a few weeks of use (wearing cross training gym shoes, not barefoot). On the bright side, the hardness makes them durable enough to hold equipment without deforming (a weight bench etc), if that's what you are looking for. I'd never go near them for cardio or plyo again, however. I bought them on the theory that sometimes you get what you pay for - surely this higher-priced item is superior to the ubiquitous cheaper all-foam mats. Nope, not for anything cardio or impactful at least.

Great product! Great customer service!
Installed these tiles for a 15' x 16' at home gym. They feel sturdy and look great. IncStores was EXTREMELY generous when I called to get some of the tiles replaced (the wrong color was sent on a couple) and they even threw in some extra tiles for FREE when I realized we did not order enough the first time.Installation tip - using a table saw to cut the tiles was much easier than the small box cutter utility knives. Definitely recommend using that (or bandsaw/jigsaw) if you have access to it.Thank you for this great product!
