Capezio Women's Ultra Soft Transition Tight

Best tights EVER! Just do yourself a favor and order the size above what you expect. I'm a size 10-12, I weigh 170, and I'm 5'8 - I ordered the L/XL and when I looked at the size chart in the back of the package I found I should have ordered an XXL.

Let me state that Capezio Ultra Soft tights are made of excellent quality & are the only brand we purchase. The 3 stars given are due to labeling & not being aware of the waist band which is very important to the dancer.A pair of Ultra Soft Capezio tights were needed . However these had a waist band that is elastic & it rolls. Style 1816 KA14 they were not what was expected being a Ultra Soft Capezio tights.In comparation to the preferred style 1618 HA16 of Ultra Soft Capezio tights, which has the waist band made of the same material as the tights themselves.This is the 2nd pair of Ultra Soft purchased from Amazon on behalf of Capezio & both had the same waist issues one being this & the other being suntan transitionalYou can see by the photos what I'm referring to.

The tights are comfortable and look good. I like the transition foot, because I can roll the tights up and wear flip flops going to and from class. The size chart on the package is accurate, but it is different than the standard Amazon size chart for women, so be careful. If you are under 5'2" and weigh less than 130lb, you should get the S/M. If you are 5'4 but weigh 120 or less, than you probably still want the S/M. If you are 5'3" or taller and weigh at least 130lb, than you should get the L/XL. I am 5'6" and 135lb, and the L/XL size fits me fine. It would still fit me if I gained 15 lb or lost 10 lb, because it is stretchy. At a height of 5'6" you would have to be 110 lb for the S/M to fit. There are select styles of XX Large tights for people that are 6 foot tall to 6' 2" and weigh up to 180lb.I hope that helps.

For reference, in bottoms I am usually a size small, 26, or 3. I weigh 115 lbs and am 5’1”.I ordered size small/medium in the color suntan.SIZE: I fit into the tights fine and it looked good. I would say It was super tight on the tummy and it squeezed my skin. It did give me difficulty with digesting whenever I ate while wearing the tights, but it was comfortable otherwise. That might be how fights should fit. I’m not too sure if the next size up (large/xlarge) would have fit me right, because it might be too loose.COLOR: I considered the light suntan color because of the reviews saying that suntan was too orange. I would say that suntan definitely does have an orange undertone, but I like that how it is similar to my skin tone, which is warm and brown. I purchased this for a ballet course in college. I personally feel the light suntan would be too pale for my legs.QUALITY: durable. I threw it in the washer and let it air dry, and the tights remained in good condition with no runs or holes.

First, find a capezio size chart before ordering. The light suntan color was a perfect to match her jazz shoes which is why we chose this color. She wore them for a few rehearsals and two recitals and they are still doing well. she had no complaints about the fit.

Very soft tights. They do run small - I'm usually a medium in most clothes. I'm 5'3", 150 lbs and got the L/XL. They fit great. Here's a size chart that's much more accurate than the Amazon size chart:

Glad I finally got a pair, they are very comfortable. The waistband might be tight for some, but that's perfect for me since I use them for trapeze and don't want my tights to slide down mid air lol

Great fit. I bought size S/M and I am 5'3" 110 pounds. Fit perfectly.

Great quality. One pair has lasted through six shows without laddering. However, recommend going up a size as they are a tight fit, (please excuse the pun).

My daughter has no complaints. We've bought these for her before.

This Amazon size chart was wrong, but fortunately mine still fit thanks to being quite slim at the moment.

The thing I like about these tights is the reinforced waistband. It's very durable.What I do not like is how small they run. You really have to stretch them out. They are hard to get on the first time compared to the Mondor brand tights, which we strongly prefer for ballet.My daughter is 5'6 and approx 140 lbs. She has the L/XL size. I only ordered these out of desperation because I have Prime and couldn't get Mondor on Amazon. She needed them for competition.

Even though I am 5ft6, I have short legs and wear petite pants but when I put these tights on, they were WAY too long and bunched up in a very weird way. And then, when I tried to adjust the material so it wasn't all just bunched up around the top of my legs in an extremely uncomfortable manner, they got a huge run all the way down the one leg. So they immediately ended up in the garbage never to actually be worn outside the house. Total disappointment! Would definitely not recommend.

Ich habe exakt die gleiche Strumpfhose ohne " Transition" (also ohne Fußloch) gekauft. Die passt gut und ist bequem.Leider ist hier der obere Bund nicht gestrickt (wie bei dem anderen Modell) sondern mit einem sehr festen Band abgeschlossen, was leider schrecklich ins Fleisch schneidet. Das ist bei Größe XXL leider mehr (Fleisch) als bei den Bohnenstangengrößen. "Ansonsten" passt sie gut und ist größengerecht. Farbe wie erwartetIch würde sie - aufgrund des engen ungeschmeidigen Bundes- ausschließlich sehr sehr lange Beine aber sehr sehr schmale fettfreie Hüften empfehlen - wenn überhaupt . Für echte XXL Girls ist das Ding nix. Daher von mir keine Kaufempfehlung.

Can't wear these. I know dance clothing runs small so I ordered xx-large, I thought I could AT LEAST fit in them. I don't know who their models but they are definitely not average-sized 5'7'' tall ladies that have the slightest amount of belly fat. It makes no sense how small tat waistband is, it actually makes these tights unwearable. It's really too bad because the leg size and length was perfect.

I'm normally a medium, sometimes small, but got XXL and they fit perfectly. Elastic in waistband is very uncomfortable though in newer models they've replaced it with softer material. Light suntan is a dark pinky brown, not well suited for my olive/yellow skintone in winter, but not as bad in summer when I have a tan. The tights themselves are durable and even out skintone very well though.

I have worn Capezio tights for many years. I don’t know what is wrong with this batch. I ordered eight, and the first two didn’t make it out the door. They have runs on the thighs from putting them on… And they are loose! So it’s not from pulling too tight. Running worse than regular nylons.

These were a gift for my daughter. They wore out with one wearing. Capezio used to be for dancers, and I picked this brand because I thought they would be durable. My daughter is a flight attendant, not a dancer, so these should have lasted far longer, in my opinion!!!

These tights have a super tiny elastic waistband that digs in and is so uncomfortable I bought these thinking they would be a much better product like in the photos with the proper waist and now you won't let me return them. Not satisfied

New fabric waistband is fantastic! Color more tan than the caramel in the hold & stretch series, but is ok when my skin is tanned in summer. They are very soft and more opaque than other Capezio tights.

I’ve bought these tights in the past and have been happy but my most recent purchase I am not. This pair that came in the mail have the tight elastic waistband and are supposed to have the knit waistband! Not happy they are so uncomfortable! Probably going to return as this is not what was described.
