Works Perfectly
My helmet radio kit broke and the replacement was $200. After researching, I decided to give this rugged radios helmet kit a try for less than half of the cost. I installed it in to a Bell M.8 helmet and it fit perfectly...actually better than the more expensive kit I had before. I like how the wires are fused and seems to be very sturdy. The microphone is nice and clear, no complaints. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase and would recommend to others.

Headphone jack is too loose
Out of the box, the jack on this product will not securely hold a headphone plug. The headphones have been tested on other devices, and they plug tightly into everything else.

I raced with this it worked perfect my old one I could not hear and the adapters always mess up so no more problems

Doesn't work with anything including rugged radios own equipment
Mic doesn't pick up sound. Here is the problem I have with rugged radios equipment. There is no description of what is required to make their junk work. The headphones are stupid heavy takes 2 cables. Buy the remote mic and the stupid rugged radios ear buds nothing no voice no sound. The RRP5050 garbage.. I'm absolutely disappointed in everything you offer because if it's like anything I've ever spent my money on... garbage!!!!

Worked Perfectly!
Have used this in a 24 hour road-race event w/ZERO issues! Was worried about using the M102 vs. the more expensive S10 mic, but it worked perfectly for us - no extra noise at all. I'm also of the opinion that there's no need for the larger NASCAR plugs like I'd been told previously....the IMSA plugs were just fine. Highly recommend.

Mono headphones only!!!
This bit of kit appears to work well if you have mono earbuds. I purchased their $15 sportsman buds, but they only function as a painful reminder of how cheap I am. IE they HURT when you wear them. Why not just make these kits for stereo headphones????????? Like the ones you can get ANYWHERE! Very frustrating and obviously a move to keep you locked into their proprietary ecosystem of either painful or painfully expensive earbuds. My advice is to look elsewhere for a product that is compatible with stereo earbuds.

Great sound quality!
According to my crew chief, the sound quality is crystal clear under racing speeds in an open cockpit spec racer ford. I highly recommended this mic kit!
