Studio HD One First Impressions
My First Impression(I end up recommending them btw)Hardware: Starting out I want you to know I got the red pair or marathon if you'd like. I love the look, color, and feel of the headphones. Put them on and they are almost perfect. My pair must be a little messed up but I feel like the left side is bent or something(you can kind of see in photos). So it's a bit more snug on one side then the other. I can get used to it but it would have been nice not to. But I love how these look.Feel: So I just want to say that I haven't been a headphone wearing guy all my life, so this is all new to me.When I first felt the padding on top I thought it was really soft, so right away put them on and they were pretty dang comfortable. I wore them for an hour or two while I did some video editing and honestly I wasn't as impressed as I though I'd be. My ears did get a little sore, but I never wore headphones before so it's probably just me. And these are on ear headphones, not over ear. Although they do cove my whole ear and do a fairly good job at keeping other noises out. At last when music is playing.Sound: When I turned the music on I was so impressed. Like mega impressed. This is so worth the $50, even though my pair was a bit faulty. I listened to Justin Beiber's Purpose, then a little bit of Prides, I even went into some singer songwriter and folk. Bottom line is that I was impressed no matter what was playing on the HD Ones. The bass isn't crazy obvious and thats good. They aren't going for that, the HD One caters to all types of music, not just hip-hop.The verdict: Love the look, like the feel, and absolutely love the sound. And thats whats must important in a pair of headphones. I'm excited to try these out for a week or two so I can put out a full review. Right now I'm giving it 4 stars because of the one side not being as snug as the other. But right now i would recumbent this to anyone who is looking at a cheap but awesome pair of headphones.

Great Sound For The Price, Potential Hinge Flaw
These headphones look like all the other imitation Beats (1st generation) headphones out there. Not that there's an issue with that, the design is a good one.The concept of these headphones is that the company is choosing not to pay for additional marketing, design, packaging, so that they can pass on the savings to you, the consumer. All the money is going mainly to the sound quality and manufacturing. One can also view this as, "oh, I'm going to China, buy a bunch of cheap headphones, and resell them in the U.S. for a major profit, and make up this story about not paying for design and celebrity endorsements as the catch; people will fall for it." Maybe I'm a little cynical and immune to everyone's marketing line. I leave that for you to decide.— PACKAGING —When you get your package, it will come in a simple and economical cardboard box. Your headphones are stored in a velvet-like bag, with the headphone cables in two separate zip-lock bags. Again, you're not paying for nice packaging here. I appreciate this aspect. While I love a nice presentation, you can do a lot with minimal packaging (like when you get an iPhone).— DESIGN —The outer section of the headband and the earpieces has a nice matte-like finish. It can collect fingerprints easily if you have oily hands, so just remember to wash your hands. The earpiece cushions feel very nice and look good. The two flat audio cords provided come in black with a microphone, and in a plain red. These cords could be a bit thicker; I don't know how they will stand the test of time.— SOUND —The most important part of any headphones is the sound quality. These headphones provide a great audio experience. These do not sound cheap. They sound just as good as most of my other headphones. I have compared these to my Beats Mixr On-Ear Headphone and my Sony Studio MDR-V600 Headphone. These provide a good range from the lows to highs, with some good bass. There's not as much bass as the Beats, and less clarity than the Sony's, but this headphone is much cheaper than those other two. I played several genres of songs to test the audio fidelity and each sounded great with no noticeable distortion. The sound comes through loud so you may have to turn down the volume on your device. There is audio leakage if you don't completely cover your ears, so don't be that person on the subway that doesn't have their headphones on properly, no one wants to hear your music; they want a nice subway ride. All in all, the sound is fantastic for the price.— CRITIQUE —The one major potential flaw of these headphones, are the hinges that fold the headphones in. From my initial observation these hinges are the weakest part of the whole headphone [see photos]. This is where a little more money should've been spent reinforcing these sections. As you can see from other people's product photos, this is the section that will most likely break. This section is also the cheapest looking (compared to the higher quality of everything else about it), and there is a reason why the product photos have chosen *not* to give you a closer look at this section. Even the cheaper AmazonBasics On-Ear Headphones looks like they provide thicker construction for the band and the hinge.I think if you take care of these headphones, and don't go throwing it around or sleeping with them on, then these are very likely to last you some time. For the price, you definitely get some bang for your buck, but watch out for that hinge. Recommended.

Great Headphones but Discomfort is the Only Drawback
**WILL EXPLAIN WHY ONLY 4 STARS****I heard a lot of people from other sites saying these headphones were great, especially for the price. I haven't spent more than $100 on a pair of headphones and was looking for something cheaper that sounded great. The Stasus Audio HD One headphones are exactly that. These are the best headphones for the price I paid. These headphones are great looking, smooth, and are fold able. The sound is clear, balanced, and very nice. These headphones sounded great over the variety of music I listened to (Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Oldies). The bass was clear and solid but for listening to Hip-Hop or songs with heavy bass you would want a little bit more kick to it. Sound wise these were great and I have no reason to complain for the price I paid and actually had my expectations exceeded. My only problem is that after about less than an hour of use my ears started to hurt and I thought it was because they were my first time using them. I then continued to wear them for a week continuously wherever I went and I still felt discomfort. I have a larger head and wouldn't recommend these headphones to people with larger heads. I will most likely will sadly have to return these headphones within the next couple of days. Other than the discomfort these headphones are great and would recommend to most people with average sized heads or smaller. I would definitely do business with this company again.
