WORKS !!!!!
This stuff is a miracle! I treated the tank for five days using what the pet store gave me, Herbtana, and after five days I saw absolutely no improvement. I thought it was a little weird because it didn’t even call for water changes, but I followed the instructions. I got really frustrated and decided to stop using it so I came on here and ordered ich x and it’s literally a miracle! I’ve posted a picture of before I started using it, my black skirt tetra was covered. He looked like somebody rolled in in some powdered sugar. I mean, he looked terrible! Ich x is a savior! I started treatment on Wednesday, I got a little frustrated because I wasn’t seeing much of a difference until all of a sudden, I woke up Sunday and he was almost clear of spots. Today is six days of treatment and you can barely see the few spots he has left. It does require a 1/3 water change every single day and then add the medication in every single day, every 24 hours. So it’s a lot of work, however, it is so worth it! Nothing about this medication, injured my fish or seemed toxic, they all are doing amazing and never once stopped acting like their normal selves. It does change the water a blue color when you first put the medication in, but that goes away pretty quickly after it settles in the tank. I will be using this if I have an outbreak again!. It was my fault for not quarantining my new fish, I got too excited, but I learned my lesson and I’m just so happy to see my black skirt feeling better!

BEST ICH MED OUT THERE.
Cured my fish of ich within 7 days. Lost none. This stuff really works. The bottle will last me forever & was a great price for the value. You get staining & blue water, but its temporary & will save your fish.

Great product if used correctly
I felt I needed to review this item because I saw a bunch of negative reviews that made me nervous. While I don't know the exact regimen that other users did that made this fail so miserably for them, this is what I have done and it worked great..I researched and found that there are things that need to done along with treatment to speed up the process and keep your fish safe. You should not just drop this in the tank and expect fast results. Ich is a nasty parasite and takes time to treat. 1- Find total volume of gallons in your tank. Tank volumes are listed at what amount of water it holds when empty. Decorations & sand/rock lower the total volume the tank holds. Use an aquarium displacement calculator online. 2- Research your fish. Some types of fish are very sensitive to medicines and/or high temperatures. Raising the temperature is recommended to speed up the life cycle of ich, but some fish will get stressed. I have Denison Barbs that can tolerate 82°, but any higher and they may not do well. I also have Loaches so I diluted half the treatment in a gallon jug and slowly poured it in. I watched for their reaction/behavior and repeated the other half of treatment a hour later when I saw no stress. Pre diluting with tank water is important and slowly pouring it near the out flow of your filter will further help the medication get around your tank. 3- Higher temperatures and/or meds can reduce oxygen in the water. Adding extra air stones, powerheads with oxygenation, and/or slightly lowering water level below the filter output so the water splashes out can all increase oxygen. This is very important. Low oxygen levels lead to stress and death. 4- Do not use water conditioner with sulfa while treating with ich-x and do not use more conditioner than needed to treat the water that you are adding to the tank. Sulfa can deactivate the medication and cause a chemical reaction that drastically reduces oxygen in the water. I use API Tap Water Conditioner. 5- Remove any carbon that is in your aquarium or filter as it can absorb the medication and reduce the efficiency of treatment. 6- Dose at the same time every day for maximum efficiency. 7- Performing at least 30% water change right before your daily dose helps remove free swimming ich parasites. Better yet, gravel vacuuming while changing the water removes ich cysts before they "hatch" greatly reducing the amount of new parasites that are looking to feed on your fish. I did this every time the 1st 5 days, then did the gravel vacuuming every other time after. 8- Continue treatment at least 5-7 days after seeing no spots on your fish. 9- If you have any sensitive plants or decor that you do not want dyed blue you can remove them and keep in a separate container for at least 2 weeks. I didn't remove any of my plants or decor, but I haven't not noticed any issues so far. I did remove my nerite snails and fresh water sponge. Luckily the sponge was attached to a filter part that could be removed. This worked for me with zero issues, except the gruelling process. My fish look great and didn't lose any. I hope it helps at least one person and a tank of fish survive the process. Good luck and don't give up! One 16 ounce size bottle treats 946 gallons. Bottle came intact and with tamper proof seal. This stuff will dye anything blue so be very careful where you open and mix Ich-x.

Saved my tank
After 5 years in the hobby I got complacent and didn’t quarantine catfish from a reputable source, turns out they had ICH. They were in a large tank with mature yoyo loaches and as many know it’s hard to save scaleless fish like loaches. Using this easily saved the catfish without signed of distress and I only lost one loach which is Kiley because it took a couple days for this arrive and at that point the damage was done. I’ve used many brands and this is the best so far.

Haven't used it yet. Keeping it on hand in my medicine cabinet.
I ended up with a bad breakout in my pond after winter. Horrible parasites and bacterial infection which took me months to get rid of and I still have a couple fish that have the parasites but I also have a huge Pond and my goldfish and koi are between 15 and 20 years old so I've actually been really scared to use a lot of products. I have cleared up a few of them but I haven't been consistent because I'm scared to death to overmedicate or kill them. So you know I've tried quite a few things and this isn't one of them that I've actually tried yet just because of all the chemicals and I haven't really noticed my fish having it. It was more parasites and worms the which led to bacterial infection so I ended up using other products that weren't is hard on them. But it's also taking me a long time to get them healthy and I'm constantly monitoring them and doing partial water changes everyday and really working hard to get them healthy and I even have a couple that are blind and I mean these fish are between 8 and 17 inches big. I've had them so many years and never had a single problem and then built a new pond they spent all last summer in it went through winter and coming out of winter we had one 70 degree day and that 70 degree day just did something and from that moment I just had huge problem and I'm not really even sure still what it was but I've redone the filter and thought I better filter and everything that I can possibly do to make sure my Fisher Okay only had one died and that was in the very beginning who was actually blind and really sunk in and just not well. But so far the rest of them are good. But when you have fish for between 15 and 20 years who are huge you don't really want to give up on them that easy.

Worked as described
Sadly one fish was to far gone with having to wait to have this shipped but the other guy is better. It is okay to use with sensitive fish which is also a plus.

Worked awesome, it saved my fish.
This stuff is the real deal. When I first noticed a few spots on my clown loach, I immediately suspected ich but did not have any Medication on hand. I ordered ich-x. Unfortunately it took two days to recieve it, so by that time, my clown loach's condition had become extreme. I didn't think it was going to make it. It kept laying on its side in the substrate. Upon arrival of the product I raised the water temp and immediately started treatment. I started to see results in a couple of days. After 5-6 days of treatment the ich was all gone. I will definitely keep this stuff on hand. The sooner you start treating the better chance of good results. I highly recommend this product. It saved my six year old favorite fish.

ICH X WORKS - AVOID API SUPER ICH CURE
ICH X WORKS! I have four guppies. The males are agressive darting swimmers, totally white in color, which made it impossible to diagnose their ich early on. One of the males started to exhibit slight pop in one eye. Then I noticed light spotting on the fins. I quickly ordered APIs SUPER ICH CURE, and began treating them right away. I turned off the aquarium lights, removed carbon from the filtering system, added the correct amount of aquarium salt, cranked up the temperature to 84 degrees, and followed all of APIs instructions to the letter. After using their 48 hour treatment method, the ich did not drop and die. I watched videos and read articles about ich. Most content mentioned that, "ich looks worse before it gets better," but this is somewhat false information if you're patiently following manufacture instructions. Yes, ich will progress and look bad even while medicating, but you should see a notable change in your fish long before the last treatment (if you're warming the water etc. to excite the ich). While using APIs SUPER ICH CURE I ordered ICH-X , because the treatment was not going very well, and I wanted a backup plan. After doing all of APIs 48 hour SUPER ICH CURE cycles, there was no improvement. I was not going to follow APIs instructions, put new carbon in the system, and pretend that something good would happen. Things had gotten worse, all four fish were coated with ich (one of the females was very pregnant too). Somehow, the ich survived APIs regimen! I did another partial water change (half), and switched to ICH-X. It has a 24 hour treatment cycle schedule, instead of APIs 48 hour. After two days of treating my fish with ICH-X, the ich is gone. I am still going to continue treating them for a few more days, with water changes. But, it's clear that the ich released to reproduce, and died when being treated with ICH-X. My female guppy gave birth last night, finally comfortable enough to do so after the ich detached from her. I'm not sure if it was product concentration (or APIs SUPER ICH CURE 48 hour dosing vs ICH-X's 24) that made the difference, but it doesn't matter. If consumers follow product directions and the product does not work, it's a problem. API's SUPER ICH CURE did NOT WORK when used as directed. ICH X WORKS!
