Super Plus Good!
Greatest and lightest and coolest looking designs for the Fire 7 2019. I prefer this a lot more than the official one actually, but you are free to have your own opinion about that. I will say that for the price, you just can't beat this. Yes it does have a kick stand to watch movies on it. Yes it is kind of like a book cover. Yes it will protect the tablet from drops. NO it will not protect the tablet if you drop it in the bath tub or take it into the shower. That's on YOU, dawg! If you are a complete clutz you might want to invest in a life-lock or whatever thing those things are that put the tablet in a sealed plastic coffin. This ain't that! Also I paired this up with one of those tempered glass screen covers and this baby is cocked, locked, and ready to rock! Bring on the Amazon Prime contents!!!!

Cute and seems durable
I do not have any problems with this case at all. It fits snugly. The first time you charge, due to the snug fit, you do have to jiggle your Kindle to get it in far enough to use the plug, but once it's in properly, it fits snugly. I had to bend the seam back and forth a bit to loosen it up enough to stand firmly, but it now sits perfectly. And it DOES have a magnet that shuts down my Kindle Fire 7. Not sure if that's a new upgrade or previous reviewers missed it, but it works fine on mine. I even ordered a second one for my husband's Kindle 7.

Exactly as described
I had purchased a cover when I got my new Kindle Fire, but I didn't care for the fact that it didn't "latch" and it was very lightweight. I worried that it wouldn't protect my Kindle if it got dropped. I had a cover from this company on my first Kindle, so I had no hesitation in ordering from them again. I am happy with the construction of it, and love the fact that my Kindle won't fall out of it accidentally. I also believe it will protect my device if it gets dropped. The fact that it ships from Amazon is just the icing on the cake.

Pretty, but doesn't seem well made
The case is very good looking, and frankly that's the only reason I used it (as long as I could.)From day one, it was obvious it was made particularly well. The stand feature, which I tend to use a lot (or used to!) does not work at all. The material is too rigid and the design off just enough that the flap does not stay in the tab well, and while it is tabbed in, the material on the "bottom" of the case is not good enough to let the tablet sit flat or stable, and the whole thing just falls over rather quickly. The crease on the "spine" also degraded almost immediately. Within hours of use it was already warped and creased, and after a few weeks it had split open entirely. The inside part of the case that holds the Kindle was also not cut correctly or with care; no matter how you position it, the cut out on the case is uneven to the screen of the Kindle, which was always bothersome, making the screen look off centered or crooked while reading. Maybe not a big deal to everyone, but annoyed me the entire time. Especially since the interior was the same color as the exterior instead of black, it was just so, so noticeable that it wasn't cut very well. All in all, I'm bummed that it was such a low quality case because I haven't found another one that I like the look of as much that also has the sleep close feature (which at least did work) but with the spine split open and the lack of being able to use it as a stand, I'm afraid I'm going to have to toss it.Amazon needs to get it together and make their own quality cases for these things.

Nice Sturdy Case
I'm especially happy that the case has an attached stylus-holder.Yes, I'm a long-time Wacom user, so I'm used to the accuracy of a stylus. (And yes, I'm spoiled!)Amazon has lots of styluses, they're cheap, accurate, elegant, and they won't mess up your nails or your screen.

Great quality
I absolutely adore this kindle cover. Ive ordered other covers in the past that I wasnt a fan of, so I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it. But it fits very snugly. The kindle doesn't slip around nor is the charger port covered like some of the ones I've tried in the past. I also like that the kindle wakes up when you open the cover. The case seems sturdy and well built and the colors are just as vibrant as the picture. Definitely reccomend.

Total garbage for using as a stand, otherwise cute and sturdy
When it arrived I was in love. After I unwrapped it, it smelled strongly of plastic (no biggie), after I tried using it as a stand I was puzzled as to why such a simple and necessary function of this cover was so difficult. The tab the front cover inserts into is very stiff, and the base on which it needs to stand is partially made of the spine of the cover and doesn't lay completely flat. After struggling for a few minutes with this I got it stand, only to encounter the same problem the following day. Going to order an alternative on AliExpress for seven bucks.

Not very happy
This may not be the seller's fault. I needed a cover for my Galaxy 4 tablet and this was the closest I could find, as the size was the same. I had a terrible time getting it into the cover, then the openings were not in the right place for my tablet. I had to cut them out with scissors and by then I could have gotten the tablet in easily. It is easy to cut which may tell how flimsy it is. It has no flap, but is magnetized at the edges. No pockets or handholds, as my old one had.
