Chris Christensen - Kool Pup Dryer - Purple

I can't describe how much I love this awesome dryer! I used to use my hair dryer (Dyson Supersonic) with my dogs and it took me almost an hour for each dog. I took them to see the groomer every couple weeks for a bath and it was like about $80 for 2 dogs. It took the groomer about an hour for taking a bath for my 2 dogs plus I had to drive to the pet store to drop them off and pick them up. So I stopped taking them to see the groomer and I decided to buy this dryer.This dryer blows cold air out and you can see that it throws the water off your dog's coat, leaving your dog absolutely dry. It is quiet compared to my own hair dryer.This dryer has saved me tons of money and time. I don't have to drive to the pet store every couple weeks anymore. I don't like the idea of leaving my dogs with the stranger. I want to take care of my dogs by myself.

Great machine. Quiet on low settings and powerful air that goes through my Shih Tzu's long hair. I just wish the air was a little warmer, but the cool air seems to make her hair silkier than it used to be.

I think the review about why someone waited so long to get this dyer is right! We have 4 Labrador Retrievers and, at any given show, we usually are showing at least 2-3 and on occasion all 4. This is a tough little dryer! From the moment I opened the box (it arrived straight from the factory in 4 days!), I could see the quality of it. Even the handle is made completely of leather. Not a necessary thing to do by any means, but, IMHO, I think it speaks to the quality of everything that's gone into it- no detail was overlooked. It's very quiet while running. Of course, it's a dryer and it still produces a measurable volume of noise, but I can easily hold a conversation over it which is more than I can say of even my own hairdryer. I'm really loving the variable speed option too! It allows me to lower the speed when drying around their heads and more sensitive areas and yet still have the needed power for the rest of the coat. I love how compact it is as well! It doesn't take up much room at all. It would likely fit in our tack bag if we didn't already have so much in there. I also like that the hose is seems to be just the right weight- not too heavy but not too light. If you drop it while it's running, the hose will just fall to the ground. No fly away hose! We also have the Kool Mister attachment and it works beautifully. We had a more inexpensive 2-speed canister dryer before and while it was more powerful, I didn't like that even the low speed seemed to be too strong for around the heads, sensitive areas, and it would frighten puppies- and there was no controlling it. It also was too strong to use our Kool Mister. The only complaint I could possibly make is that I wish it would come with at least one replacement filter. The small filter seems to attract a lot of junk pretty quickly and I'm having to take it out and at least shake it off in between each dog- and then definitely clean it after I'm completely finished. Not a biggie, but just a small inconvenience that could be solved by having another filter available to pop right in. It's possible we might upgrade to the regular Kool Dryer in the future just for the additional top end power we like occasionally. However, for now, we're really loving the Kool Pup and it's pretty clear to us that we won't use any other brand of dryer than Chris Christensen!

This is one of the best purchases I have made for blow drying my Maltese. She is not a show dog, but I do my own grooming and she is not always a willing participant. It took a few times before she was comfortable but now she doesn't seem to mind too much. The best thing about it is that you can control the force of the air from full force to almost nothing. That has made all the difference for us.

Cute, light, but very low power, and very expensive. tried to exchange for a more powerful product and was denied by seller. Pretty disappointed.

I bought one of these at a dog show, as I have a short coated breed and don't need the most powerful dryer in the world. It comes with 2 nozzles, no instructions, but is easily used. Quieter than my former Air Force Commander dryer, too. My friend watched me groom up my dogs...bathe, towel dry, and then blow dry...depending upon what brush you use, you can straighten or sculpt the coat. She then wanted her own purple dryer for her dogs! The colors are fun, too! Nice long cord and hose, dryer blows slightly warm air after a few minutes running, but never hot.

Very quiet, light and powerful. I am a professional groomer and have tried many dryers for home use. This one is by far the best!

Best Blower EVER, expecialy for puppies, because you can adjust the power of the air, and because almost don't have noise coming from the blower
