Bread Armor Ciabatta Bread Bags, 2-Pack

I like these bags, but I have learned to replace them regularly. When new, they are great. Put the bread into the bag, zip it closed, and the bread stays moist and sliceable for days. However, there are a couple of problems with the bags:1. Inevitably, the ziploc closure fails. Then you have to clamp the bag closed somehow.2. If you leave bread too long in the bag so that mold develops, you may as well discard the bag. In my experience, the mold spores cannot be extirpated from the bag, so that any bread placed into the bag spoils quickly.The solution is simple: plan to replace the bags on a regular basis. I have found that they work well for months, but not forever.

I wanted something that would be long enough to hold a Babette or ciabatta loaf. But these bags are twice the length they need to be which makes it very very difficult to use. Also they open at the top as opposed to the side so it's difficult to get the loaf in

I bought several of these bags for my fresh baked bread. After the closing mechanism broke on two bags, I contacted the business. After a long wait, I finally heard back and I was told they recommend replacing the bags "every 2 weeks, or sooner if needed." Needless to say, the price of these bags led me to expect and longer "product life" than that. I recommend using freezer style bags instead as they last longer than this more expensive product.

These are strong and BPA free. I just wish they made larger sizes.. I can slice the bread andnput it on but rgular loaves of sandwich bread are a bit too tall. Great for french or ciabatta loaves as advertised.

I make bread, slice then use the various sizes of these bags to freeze them. Easy to grab a couple slices. Keeps the bread fresh/frozen without freezer burn or ice building up in the bags.

Excellent quality, roomy,good seal and capable of being reused many times before they start to cloud up or otherwise start to show wear.Far superior to many other bread bags and a personal favorite to extend the life of that expensive piece of bread for a few days till its gone. Well worth it!

I make four loaves of bread per week and these bags are perfect for storage, freezing, or sending my bread as care packages to people. These bags are re-usable and they last a long time. They help the bread, which has no preservatives to last longer as well.
