I was able to simply slide this into my SFP+ router, connect up my Cat6a cable between it and my 10GB Modem, and BOOM!

They get quite toasty, but seem to work fine. I hear most get that hot, but have no personal experience. Stable 10gb connections even over a short CAT5e cable (which isn't rated for 10gb).

Some of these Cisco transceivers are compatible with more than just Cisco devices; this one does not seem to be. It works great in my Cisco switch, but I needed a transceiver for a QNAP switch. If you have a Cisco device, this should do the job perfectly, but I wound up purchasing a Transceiver from HiFiber for my needs.

2 months and it stopped working. I Hope they will replace it not happy

Best value for the money. Traffic transfer is rocksolid. And it worked in our Dell SFP28 port. Also worked in CISCO switch SFP+ port. 10Zig Zero Client auto negotiated down to 100MB. Will buy more!

Based on my experience with a MicroTik switch: this reports 10Gbps to the switch regardless of the negotiated speed. While it does appear to be connected at 2.5Gbps, it reports as 10Gbps to the switch. I assume this confuses the switch, because it then turns into an intermittent 2.5Gbps downlink and a basically worthless (due to so much packet loss) 5-10Kbps uplink. Probably works fine for 10Gbps and 1Gbps. But 6COM clearly answered a question stating that it supports 2.5 + 5, and seemingly it does not. At least not with MikroTik.

Great price, works perfect without any issues, and is perfectly compatible with the devices it promises to be. Will buy more as the need arises.

Nello switch mi servivano altre due porte RJ45 gigabit e l'adattatore originale MikroTik S-RJ01 costava quasi il doppio di questo. Ho acquistato allora qui due moduli SFP scegliendo il mod. "6C-SFP-T", che sembra essere del tutto equivalente all'originale, supportando i tre data rate 10/100/1000M. Ho testato le sole velocità 100M e 1000M ed è tutto OK. Durante l'acquisto occorre fare però attenzione nella scelta del modello perchè c'è anche il "6C-SFP-M", che però supporta solo il data rate 1000M e non permetterebbe pertanto la connessione LAN di dispositivi con velocità 10/100M. Considerando che costa come l'altro, tanto vale prendere quello più compatibile.

El switch binardat de inmediato lo reconocio. El precio esta dentro de lo esperado y razonable para estos tipos de componentes. Segun el switch lo reconoce como un SFP+ 10 Gbs

Desconozco bastante este mundo pero calidad precio me parece estupendo, llevo semanas con él y ningún tipo de problema a máxima velocidad, 10G como anuncia.
