Acecap AC1210 Systemic Insecticide Tree Implants, Pack of 10,Brown

Used these to take care of the bores that infested my mesquite tree. They are easy to use and they actually work! Within 2 weeks I noticed bores dead around the base of the tree. Now after a year my tree is healthy and free from bores.

Effectiveness: Very effective against the Emerald Ash Borer!!! i have been using this for 3 years ,i reimplant every spring from then my tree has just filled out and looks great the best looking Ash tree in the valley and maybe the only one left alive, very effective Functionality: easy to implant you need a Drill and bit , tape measure, hammer and round dowel or punch to countersink the implant just under the bark layer , super easy !!! Value for money: Its a no brainer pay for the implants trees 14in use 10 implants price $25 for the kit price varies also they have larger implants and larger qty packs . I would pay $25 a year to keep a beautiful tree and avoid a $2000 bill to have it cut and removed

My neighborhood was planted with ash trees 25 years ago before the ash bore became prevalent. My tree is the only one left in the neighborhood because of this product. Application is easy, but it requires using a power drill. I just bang the plugs in after I’ve drilled a small hole and that’s it. Interestingly, the plugs from the previous years eventually disappear after a few years because the bark grows around them. Great product.

Arrived when expected & is likely a wonderful product for the job. Only problem is they don’t have enough details in the listed info and photos for you to make the right purchase for your needs. I did as much research beforehand to try to make sure this was the product I needed, only to read the detailed instructions (not shown in the listing as far as I could find) and discover that these implants are not suitable for trees under 3” in diameter. AND... your supposed to measure the diameter 4.5 FEET from the ground (not just 6-10” off the ground)!!! So, I’m sharing these photos for ppl to have all the information they need about properly using/purchasing this product. This is an easy way to treat your ash tree to keep bugs away. We’ve been using them and they have done the job.

My large Ash Tree had Ash Bores. So, I have to drill homes and insert these plugs into the tree. After using two years in a row, my tree looked better that it had in a long time. Make sure you follow directions, wear gloves and make sure you used enough of them per directions....1 plug every 4" around the tree.

Hoping for the best on this for my white pines that have white pine weevils. There was also some other bug boring into the trunks. The medicine was a breeze to install and the holes I had to drill in the trunk seem to have no ill effect on the tree so far. Ill update my rating in a year when I see the full effect from the medicine. So only three stars until I know it has worked.

It takes 2 to 3 years to get rid of borers in your trees - you need this product or similar to treat every spring until you don't see borer exit holes in your tree trunks in late spring/early summer - Woodpeckers will let you know if there are no borers present - if you see places where they've pecked on trunks and limbs - you must keep treating

This product cleared my oak tree of sap sucking insects and it is now looking very healthy. Previously our garden and cars parked beneath the tree would be covered in black sticky excretions from these insects but now it is not a problem at all.
