Tearing is not an option. It leaves wrinkly waves. Sticks to itself well also. (Had some overlap on the squares we made). I bought 5 rolls, but only needed 216 ft. Used 2 rolls and a little from the 3rd. So it goes a long way. Review: Zero residue - Great product, zero residue. We used it for marching band camp and it with stood the abuse of constantly being walked on, and once it was time to remove it there was zero residue and clean up required. Hard to get off sealed concrete floor once it's down. *by N***D on December 14, 2024* Bought a few packs of this tape to mark aisles in a new warehouse building with sealed concrete floors. Put a tester piece on the floor for a day before committing to the whole warehouse. 4 months later, I still can't get all of the tester strip up without using solvents.
