Context: I am 5’6, 120lbs, 35:27:36, and all legs. I ordered a small; it fits somewhat loosely and the straps while not adjustable are not too long for my small frame. I bought this to serve as a slip under my floor length Victorian Gown collection, because I don’t feel like making one.First off, this thing is SOFT. Easily the softest garment I’ve ever worn, more so than even my handmade silk and cashmere robe. It’s also just the right weight so as not to be sheer but to still feel slinky and flowy. It doesn’t get snagged or bunched up under my dresses, and feels substantial enough for house lounging. Definitely not for solo wear outside. The one detail I don’t care for is that it does seem a few inches shorter than described. Not ideal, but it will still work for what I need until I can unpack my sewing machine.

I can see why this slip/dress got such positive reviews. It is very pretty, the fabric is nice and comfortable, and the length is nice. I expected it to fit more like it does on the model--slightly loose, like a normal full slip would fit. This slip is very clingy and hugs me down to mid-thigh. Whereas I am sure this feature would be a plus with the younger set, at my age, I like my clothing more relaxed. (I followed your size chart and got a large.) I got this to wear as a nightgown and a slip. I cannot imagine anyone wearing this as a dress. I am going to keep it because, though the look isn't ideal, it is very comfortable and does serve its purpose. However, had this slip been shown more accurately, I wouldn't have purchased it.

I bought the nude shade as a slip for my long white dress. That changed the moment I touched it. I love sleeping in it, walking around the house in it and it's a great slip. The size fits perfectly and it is so soft to the touch. It washes well in cold water on a regular cycle and tossing it in the dryer just made it better. I wear it, wash it and put it back on. It has keep its shape.I will order this slip in black and white too. My size is normally a 8-10 and the medium fit very well. My friends love it too! As a matter of fact several of them ordered it after seeing the great fit and how happy I was with mine.

Perfect for what I wanted Soft non clingy In an XL I never expected to wear this as anything but a slip under dresses that are too transparent. But there's no binding and even as it hugs my big tummy in a most unflattering way, it neither constricts over the hours or show at all. Usually I can't wait to tear off what I'm wearing including a slip when I get home. This slip I left on not realizing I had! That's the best review I could give an undergarment. If your body is good enough to wear a size S M or even L, then I'm sure you'll love to wear it alone Or at least your significant other will love to see you wearing it alone. haha.....straps are not adjustable yet they hang in perfect place. Plus remember, a few stitches sewn on each would eliminate any need to have them shorter.

Needed a calf length slip for a white dress. I went everywhere in the shops and couldn’t find one. Thank God for Amazon and this very good quality slip.
