Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough how this product is simply amazing! The very 1st use, I immediately felt the difference. As soon as I applied the product, I could feel the build-up being stripped from my hair. I highlight my hair, and it didn't impact my color in any negative way whatsoever! I left my hair clean & soft. It wasn't a 'fly away' soft, it was a 'healthy' soft, where the hair is still manageable. My hair is very thin & fine, but this product made all the difference in the world. Actually looked and felt like I had more volume.

I have a short pixie style haircut that is light white with brassy tones in bangs. I use flat iron on low but use heat protectants. City water that is filtered in our home. Well known in our small town that we have horrible drinking water and most filter it. Pros: Made hair very soft Gave my hair body Some shine Easy to use Cons: Did not remove brassy color/no color change Seems you have better luck leaving on 10 min versus 5 in directions This might take several treatments??? I ordered 2 packets so will wait a week and try again for 10 minutes as those with favorable results used it that long. But for the body, shine and softness~I give it 4 stars and will buy again. I do feel it left my hair in better condition

This product saved my hair! I am writing this for anyone who might be struggling with their hair as I have. For over 9 years I have been dealing with extremely frizzy, crunchy, dry damaged looking hair that is almost like Velcro sticking to itself at the ends. Feeling grippy and squeaky if I run my fingers along the hair shafts and unable to absorb any “moisture” no matter what conditioners I have used and hair oil seems to vanish into the hair shafts leaving my hair just as dry and crunchy as before. I feel like I have tried everything under the sun and generally take very good care of my hair with gentle detangling, no heat styling and even wearing a silk night cap. And yet for years my Hair still appeared horribly damaged with an awful unmanageable texture (my hair is fine and wavy/ loose curls). The ends were breaking off and I would trim them with brand new sharp scissors at home but I just couldn’t grow my hair. After using this line with the hard water treatment, double shampooing and using the conditioner just as it recommends my hair is FINALLY turning a corner. If you have demi-permanant dye in your hair or toner, and did not use this product right before your salon visit, do not use this product until right before you go back to the salon. On the other hand, if you want to strip your color, do use this product. I went to the salon 8 days prior to using this. I did my research first. I'm actually a bit obsessive about researching so it prolongs purchasing things. I've wanted to use a clarifier for a while, since I learned about them, because I have very hard well water. This one was the winner for me. My hair is primarily bleached, with root growth of about 5 months that I get highlighted regularly to blend. Then it gets toned to different shades, depending on what I'm going for. This product, on one hand is amazing. My hair has never felt so clean. My natural hair that has grown in since fully bleaching my hair was shiny, smooth, and beautiful. What I wasn't expecting was for the rest of my hair to be completely stripped back to the bleach only. It went from a creamy chocolate (stunning blonde; I highly recommend trying that color toner) to a super light, summer blonde. After reaching out to malibu c on their Facebook page, they informed me that if I didn't use this treatment on my hair prior to getting it done, the color would sit on the mineral buildup and therefore come off with it. I greatly appreciate their feedback and learning this. I asked if they would consider putting this information in their directions or product description. They did not respond. So, while I don't leave long reviews typically, I'd like others who research products to be able to take into consideration there is a time to use Malibu C hardwater treatment, and it is not after going to the salon and paying for the hair you want, it is before. I will continue to use this product because it is amazing, albeit at the right time. I gave it 3 stars for the misleading information which caused me to wash $$$ down the drain but the treatment itself is 5 stars.

I have incredibly hard water and before I realized the problem, ended up chopping inches off my hair because I thought I was doing something wrong. I was recommended one of these packets and it SAVED my hair. I use one once a month and it keeps my hair hard water build up free. I also use Kenra clarifying shampoo once a week but this is my holy grail. I also use a packet on each of my kids. I have long brown hair and I can make one packet work although I do think I'll need to use two soon. However many I don't really care because this is worth it.

I read a lot of good reviews, like best for really deer cleaning. I ordered but never used. Once I’ll have buildup on my hair will try it

Ne correspond pas à ma commande et quantité MINUSCULE!! : j'ai commandé le Malibu C Hard Water avec la mention "élimine les minéraux pour purifier les cheveux" comme indiqué sur les photos car mon eau est très calcaire, or j'ai reçu celui-ci: "élimine la décoloration et restaure le volume et le lustre éclatant"! (voir photo) mes cheveux ne sont même pas décolorés. De plus l'emballage est MINUSCULE, il tient dans la paume d'une main d'enfant de 3 ans sans dépasser!! (la taille de l'emballage fait environ 5cmx7cm pas plus donc ridicule pour le prix!)

Worked exceptionally well at removing the hard water build up, and did not damage my hair at all. I wouldn't want to keep using these so I started washing with distilled water until I can afford a shower filter. I used all three packages one week apart. If you do decide to use distilled water applying some heat to your hair makes this product much more effective. Just a hot towel with a cap over it. After nearly ten years of trying to figure out why my hair was so dry, brittle and breaking all the time I'm relieved to have found this product. I've lived with hard water my whole life so I'm not too sure why all of a sudden it had such a brutal effect on my hair. Possibly moving to an older home with older pipes and water tank. If anybody is wondering if this is your issue some things I missed were that my hair was soft after washing it but got harder and harder each day after that. Also my shampoo barely lathered at all. Thanks so much!!! Looking forward to being able to grow my hair back after having to shave it off.
