### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Great traction on ice

This product is great for avoiding falls and slips on the ice.I put them on when I leave the house, and then I take them offas soon as I enter the building at work, so I'm not sure ifthey hurt floors or hard surfaces that are not covered with snowor ice. Some reviews indicated that the spikes scratch the floor. This sounds pretty bone-headed to me. I mean would you wearshoes with golf spikes anywhere other than on grass? Sowhy would someone wear spiked grippers for ice on linoleum?I have a small foot - women's size 5. I purchased a similarproduct by another brand a few years ago, and I found it verydifficult to get a "small / medium" on my foot. I found itespecially difficult to take them off once my shoes were coldfrom the snow and ice. So, for this purchase, I bought alarge for my size 5 foot, and they work great. I have notrouble putting them on or taking them off. The backeven has a little handle to help take them off easily.Even though my foot is small, I have never had a problemwith these grippers falling off. I read other reviewsbefore purchasing, and some said that there were not as manygrippers on the bottom as illustrated in the photo. The pairof grippers that I received were exactly as illustrated.I find this product very effective and very easy to use.Great value for the price.

Great on even 1-2 in thick Ice, and for running in the mud.

*by A***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2013*

I bought these as an alternative to Yaktrax, they stay on my foot well im a size 9 womens and I bought a medium, I could probably fit a large but I wanted a snug fit.the ice cleat pieces are little metal nubs about 1/8 in if you count the plastic they are mounted in, still with the placement on my foot they held up on thick ice around my apartment building. I would not run on ice in them though, not that sturdy. I do run in mud on them I add them to my trail running sneakers. They work great for that! They just ok in the snow to grip on trails, of course they are not made for deep snow so I cannot complain there, however they doo provide some traction in the snow. I wear them hiking on trails in a couple of inches and can still hike at a pace of 3mph. Overall I am pleased with this product for the price.

    They seem to be working

I wasn't expecting these to be great but so far I'm satisfied. I bought and liked the Stabilicers Lites, they had great grip, but they suffer from same problem as Yak Traks; they won't stay on the shoe and come off on crust or trails. I think manufacturers want you to lose foot grips the way most are designed. That's why I'm giving a thumbs up to the DryGuy GripOns, they actually stay on because they have an over the toe design and the rear straps rides high onto the shoe. I'm wearing these on some Acton Canadian Snow boots and so far so good. The rubber material is wide and flat and I think this is part of the reason they are staying on. I believe these were actually less expensive than the Stabilicers that I won't buy again.
