ella+mila Vegan Nail Polish - Quick Dry & Chip Resistant (Cause I'm Happy)

It takes a lot to impress me these days, especially with the generally low quality of many products out there, but I absolutely love this polish. It takes about 30 seconds to put on, for some inexplicable reason it doesn’t smudge, it lasts, and it is easy to remove. The colors are modern and oh so pretty. I’m not going to ruin my nails with glue or anything fake, so this is a godsend!

I love how fast this dries and how long it lasts.

I have terrible nails (dry, brittle, thin and weak)! since the pandemic, I've dreading having to do my own nails. Ella + Milla made it easier. The polish applied easily. The brush was a nice thickness and best of all I loved the color; just as I imagined from the photo! I applied it to my toes and so far, it has lasted for a week. Looks great! I used an under and over coat, too.

It does chip some, but i can redo them myself and dont have to pay the high cost of having someone else do them and make my hands sore.

ella+mila nail polish is "5 free" and certified by PETA as cruelty-free. That makes a huge difference in the smell of the product and also the reaction of the nail. I used this with the 5 free remover, base, and top coat in the Zoya line and found it very compatible. Since I've been using the 5 free products, my nails have quit splitting and are actually growing out. I liked everything about this polish except the color. Maybe it's my monitor, but I see a brown based polish with a little pink in it. There is no pink. This is light brown polish. That being said, it's a very pretty shade of brown. I'd buy it again. Amended Feb 1, 2016. The polish didn't stay on, even with top coat, lots of drying time, etc. Had to be replaced on the third day. I wouldn't buy it again.

I really like this nail Polish. Color is a nice neutral color but has sparkle in it. I love sparkles and this is just enough! I will definitely buy again and I am also looking at a few other color choices from this brand!

I wanted to love this nail polish because it's more natural and the color is gorgeous BUT it's just horrible. It's thick and goopy and the brush is so bad. The bristles on the brush are very stiff and make application without streaks impossible. I even tried to smooth it out with a topcoat, but you can still see the lines. It is like a polish that is years old and starting to dry out. I tried to show in the following pictures, but don't have a good enough camera to show it clearly. You can see the streaking though, and I did one red nail in OPI to prove I'm not just horrible at applying polish. Perhaps mine was defective, but for the price, I will not be buying this brand ever again.
