Purchased while living in Texas, more stylish than the regular athletic sandle. Threw them in the washer constantly. They lasted for years until the bottom finally broke but the foam sole stood up till the end, several years into my second pair. Still love the way it looks and feels. I can have a firm sandle and they still slip on. Love it.

Bought these for a summer trip and have been pleasantly surprised by how well they held up. Make sure you get the size right. Customer Support were able to help me confirm that I should be shooting for a size that only just covered my foot surface area. I didn’t get any blisters. I like the fact that I could adjust the strap length and I walked a ton on these. Honestly, I’d have to say that these are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned. Sandals were always a “I guess I need to have a pair for the activity I’m going to be doing” purchase, namely, anything that required dealing with heat and water but also being able to walk on somewhat uneven surfaces, where a flip-flop wouldn’t be enough. These are kind of a super flip-flop. Which has led to an abundance of confidence that I’ve pushed a bit too far a few times and almost rolled my ankle. So watch out for that. But I’ve never loved a pair of sandals before. And I love these. I ended up wearing them long after the trip until the weather closed in enough to force me to get back into shoes. One of the nice things about them is that they’re so lightweight as you can even go for a casual swim in them. I wouldn’t recommend trying to do an iron man, but if you’re worried about sea urchins, these are a great solution.

First time Luna customer. Sole provides more cushion than other barefoot styles I have tried yet still bends with my foot. Foot “sticks” to sole unlike other barefoot styles. Nothing about the straps are uncomfortable. Style: it is a very comfortable and sturdy sandal…..just my style. 😃

I have recently been wearing Luna sandals. While they offer different styles and treads, the Mono Winged is their go-to, all-purpose sandal. If in doubt, get this model. Size down! Luna sandals tend to run a little small, and the huarache style works best with as little material around the feet as possible. I wear a size 10 in shoes, I had to get a size 8 for these to be comfortable. And keep the straps snug, not tight. If they are too tight, they will push your foot to either side and the sandal will not be aligned properly. A snug fit, enough to fit a finger between your foot and strap, is what you want. That lets your foot move naturally and will keep them aligned on the sandal. As is common with huaraches, it will take a little time to break them in and find a strap placement that works for you. It can be frustrating but keep at it, once you get it, you never have to adjust them again. Overall, great sandals. They are expensive but the quality is good. The Vibram sole is very durable and a great choice for everyday wear and lightweight hiking. For more intensive hiking, consider the Oso models, which use the Megagrip sole.

Overall comfortable but my left sandal comes loose after a hundred yards or so. Not sure why. The right one stays snug though. They are comfortable and have good traction. I wonder how long the foamy sole will last though.

I really wanted to love these, but the area where the strap “wings” meet the sole is so painful underfoot. The sole itself felt very comfortable, but the plastic wings hurt so bad they’re intolerable. These have been the most painful barefoot shoes I have ever tried. I think these may be better suited to a person with narrow heels.

These are a god send for camping especially when space is limited. I did a bike packing trip across Scandinavia and needed a shoe I could wear when I set up camp each night. Extremely light weight and surprisingly comfortable. Easy to slip on when stepping out of the tent and was able to attach them to the side of my bike bag. They are very streamlined and flat for being able to tuck away in a bag or on the outside of a pack. So far quality has been great, they lasted two weeks of being tossed around on that trip and have used them a few times on some other camping trips recently with no issues.

I love these so much. SO much. I wear them almost every day. The straps broke in very quickly, which was so nice because I could get to wearing them without pain and rubbing in between my toes. Easy to adjust. My *only* complaint is that I am a true size 8 shoe, and these 8s are a tad small for my liking, and I’m scared 8.5s would be too big. I also feel like they loosen as I wear them, but that’s not a big deal.
