Simple tool that everyone needs. Seems like every tool manufacturer makes one now. I bought this to replace one I lost. I am not a painter or tradesmen by any means, just a DIYer. I rarely every use as a roller cleaner, but these tools have tons of uses. This has a full tang and a striking plate on the end. I haven't beat on it to much yet , but it seems sturdy. I also like the look of the wooden handle.

If you're going to be doing any amount of painting you NEED one of these. Sturdy and well made. The butt works great for closing paint cans and as an impromptu hammer. Of course it's good for cleaning rolls. I've even used it for chiseling out wood and plaster in odd little corners, opening packages, and removing stuck on switch plates. Also good for digging out the dried on paint gumming up the edge of your can. Look- it's not like technological marvel or even a new type of tool. You can probably find cheaper ones too, but for the price and the quality this one is a good deal.

This tool is without a doubt the best 5 in 1 I’ve ever found. As a full time carpenter I’ve always found a 5 in 1 useful outside of its obvious paint attributes. This 5 in 1 is absolutely perfect. It’s stainless, which worried me because stainless is a more malleable metal, but this thing is stiff as hell.It’s sharp as hell too, so watch out. This tool is built to take a beating. Very good find

Happy with this one. Purchased some other full tang tools but the thickness on the metal was perhaps half of this one. I've abused this one by using it for prying and chiseling. Holding up well. A little hard on the heel of my palm during heavy scraping but overall a well made tool.

I was looking to replace my old snap on scrapper. I found this and decided to give it a try. The weight is really nice and the steel is nicely finished. The wood to steel fit is not very good at the handle end. Possibly over sanding on the wood so you have a edge where the two meet. But over all I recommend it if you want a good looking wood handle scraper.

Like handle and sharrpness

I use painters tools to dig fossil shells out of beach sand, so they get hard use in a marine environment. This is the first one I've had that doesn't rust. Like, wow! The wooden handle is nice, too, I wiped it down with a few coats of mineral oil for extra protection. Recommended.
