Sturdy and Reliable!
The UTG Med-pro Compact Picatinny Riser Mount is exactly what I needed. It provides the perfect height boost for my optics and fits securely on my rail. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy construction that holds up under heavy use. Installation was quick and easy, and it has maintained a solid, wobble-free grip. Great value for such a reliable riser mount. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their sight setup!

Perfect 1/2 co-witness height for the Bushnell TRS-25 with MBUS Gen1 and Gen2 sights!
Recently purchased both the medium profile as well as the high profile risers for my AR not really knowing which would work best for my Bushnell TRS-25.When using the Bushnell TRS-25 optic in conjunction with the Magpul MBUS flip-up sights (both Gen1 and Gen2 models) the Medium Profile riser is a dead-on half co-witness sighting with the flip-up irons. The High Profile riser will provide a very functional bottom one-third co-witness usability with the MBUS sights.Fit and finish are great and both a great value. The mount is solid and engages the standard 1913 picatinny railing flawlessly. The one pitfall that I had found with this product is that when attempting to mount the riser onto the upper receiver of my AR was related to the movable jaw on the side of the mount under the lock-down screw. Because the locking knob is captive on the threaded shaft that links the movable an static sides of the jaw, it took some coaxing at the risk of marring the finish of the rail because the jaw did not open wide enough to just 'slip' onto the railing. While not a deal-breaker and can even serve as a bit of an insurance policy to hedge against outright losing the riser under duress it does bid mention. If you are sensitive to the finish of your railing around where you mount the riser take some extra time an patience to do it right.

A Problem Solver
OK...I don't write reviews, but this little riser solved all my problems and answered my questions. Long story short, I am a new AR15 shooter and so when I have an 'AHA!' moment, it is long sought after. This riser works perfectly with my flat top and BSHNLL TRS25. I first tried a Yankee hill 0.5" rise and it wasn't what I wanted for co-witness. I realized how well made it was and thus figured it to be one of the best. The UTG RS08S3 3 slot riser though is very well made and gave me the correct rise I was looking for. The spring base mounting is pretty slick and makes it easy to slip on. The machining is exceptional and the corners are as crisp as the YHM. I definitely do think this is one of the best values as it was only like 10 bucks, I am gonna order 2 more to use for a scope. You just can't go wrong with this one, just get a proper measurement of your flat top to the level of the buis' you have. I ended up using a yard stick(3ft) to determine a straight line of sight and then measured down to the rail. There are 3 size risers,I believe and they are all about the same price.

Nice Riser
Works as indented and the easy to turn dial makes this simple to remove. I purchased both the medium and high profile riser as I was not sure which would let me co-witness with my optics when I placed the order. The medium ended up fitting the application for both a Vortex and Leopuld optics.I leave these mounted to the optics and will swap them out depending on the application. No issues with either optic being out of adjustment when putting back on the same spot on the rail. There are some nicer risers out there, but for wanting a quick change at a decent price these fit the need.

Will work for now. Lower 1/3 cowitness PA MicroDot
This Riser will work for now, however, I was seeking absolute co-witness. This gives me lower 1/3 cowitness with a Primary Arms micro dot with REMOVABLE base. What that means for a fixed base PA-micro, an aimpoint, trs-25, or anything else I don't know. If you're unsure about what lower 1/3 cowitness and absolute cowitness are, google it. I prefer absolute, see explanation below. This 100% gave me lower 1/3. Which is fine for now but I will be ordering the LOW riser to see if that works. The riser itself seems strong and everything fit as it should. Thumbscrew worked fine. I HAVEN'T shot with it yet. I will update this if anything goes wrong. But if everything stays put, it holds zero, and can go on and off and still hold zero, I will not do an update. You can assume that it is doing (did) those things for me. Hence the 5 stars. Like I said I will be trying the Low riser from UTG but might wait until my low pro gas block goes on and replaces my fixed front site.Short version: lower 1/3 requires you to raise your head slightly to center your dot in the field of view (FOV). This allows for a very open site picture as your rear iron site is not visible and the front site sits at the very bottom of the FOV. But, you sacrifice cheek weld. Absolute cowitness means your rear site, front site, and the red dot all line up in the middle of your FOV thru the red dot site. And you keep a proper cheek weld which I prefer. But your iron sites can clutter up your FOV. Folding sites do away with this issue so in my opinion absolute cowitness (lower riser/site) is better. But if you have a fixed front site you may think otherwise.

Very well made riser at a great price!
This UTG riser is simple, durable and very handy. I have tried a few other brands and the problem I've encountered with the others is after several hundred rounds shot down range they begin to wobble. Finally I came across this one and since then have never even needed to retighten them. The picture below is of it on my AR which work perfectly if your trying to co-witness your iron sights with your red dot, they align perfectly. I also use this on my AK47 which has a much more heavier recoil and still have never needed to tighten them. Made out of light weight material and coated with weather resistant paint they have never failed me once and provide the lightness possible weight to my rifle platforms. If you found my review to be of help, please click the "helpful" button below. Thanks and always be safe :)

Clunky looking but perfect co-witness
I bought this riser to mount a TRS-25 on an SBR with flip-up BUIS. While it is not elegant looking, it is extremely functional. It has one cross bolt and the nut has a plastic wing on it that is large enough to tighten or loosen by hand, so you don't need tools. I get perfect co-witness with it. If I needed another riser, I would buy another one just like it. I recommended it to a couple of friends, and they are every bit as satisfied as I am.I have not slogged through desert, swamp, mountains, or rivers with it, but it appears to be robust enough that if I did, it would come through with flying colors.

Owner of 3+ of these mounts.
Purchased one a long time ago and quickly bought many more to outfit my other rifles. All my ARs have these mounts for cheap red dots. No they dont cowitness completely but they work okay for what I need. And I mean this riser and the optic I use dont cowitness completely with the cheap back up sights I use, its not the mounts fault. These things are machined well, and secure easily, and for the money I dont know of any other company thats this good for what UTG offers. My father now owns multiple of these too. Ive told a lot of people about them too. If you need a mount that is a safe cheaper option this is it.

User
Solid, good price point.
Awesome mount, co witness with most back up iron sights. Take note there is only 3 notches, I have a larger red dot that overhangs at front and back so not ideal mount for it. I do have a smaller micro T-2 style red dot that fits perfectly.

Served my purpose!
Served my purpose, it has not broke yet. I have run about 2-3 hundred rounds of .22 Lr with my Bushnell Redot and has not lost zero as of yet. May update this review in a year to see how it goes.

Great but really really small surface area to mount
Pretty sturdy little riser. Only problem is it’s really small. Bought it for my red dot which didn’t provide enough surface to mount. The picatinny surface is incredibly small. Just be aware that it won’t fit most sights unless it’s for iron flip up BUS sights.
