Defective
When you have to put a password in it won't let me because it seems one has already been on this device so it is been useless to me.. I didn't realize it at first, because I was waiting on getting my TV from storage to hook it too, so by the time I was able to hook it up,( and realized it was defective) it was too late for me to send it back to get a refund.... I cannot find out how to clear it so that I can add my own password so that I can use this device. I hate paying for something and getting nothing in return... I don't understand how this won't let me put in a password: the only thing that makes sense is it was already pre-used ..maybe someone sent it back and Amazon put it back in stock to send it to someone else, when they should not have, because it is defective, and all that happened was Amazon ended up with my money and I ended up with crap!

Works but doesn't do its job. Very disappointed
Wasn't able to get it working properlyand had to go to the store to get a Chrome Cast which defeats the purpose of buying this product. Will try to give it to my little sister to see if she can get it working but all it did was frustrate me with its vague instructions and its inability to connect with our wifi and kick me off my own system.

HATE IT!
Absolutely pissed at Amazon for recommending this thing. Spend the extra money and get a real Chromecast. This thing is a pain in the ass to get working and then everything about, like trying to update it, is a ridiculous unfathomable chore. All of the instructions don't make sense, the videos are so quick you can't figure out what they are doing and the links to places that are supposed to help you don't work! What a pain. DON'T BUY IT!!!

Shame on me for not realizing I was reading deceptive advertising.This device only mirrors images from your device (phone, tablet, laptop)It DOES NOT STREAM ANY APPS! IT ONLY PROVIDES A MIRROR IMAGE, WHICH CAN SUCK DEPENDING ON SOURCE MATERIAL AND/OR DEVICE BEING MIRRORED FROM!! BEWARE!! WARNING!!

Wish I had bought a Chromecast
I bought this thinking it would be similar to Chromecast. It wasn't and I really don't like using it. It would disconnect all the time or wouldn't connect. Ended up buying a chromecast anyways.

Excellent for large display of text
I have neck and back issues. I read multiple hours per day. Being able to mirror my tablet screen to a large screen across the room allows me to read in a heads up position and lessens my neck strain. A perfect application for my needs. Text and graphs or individual pictures mirror perfectly...video shows a bit of latency and pixelation. Installation was smooth and simple following the included instructions. Should have included an AC to USB adapter spec-ed to the requested 5v1amp .. not just the too short USB cable. The Mira app for my Samsung tablet was also a simple download.

The device that I received was used one time and after , when I tried to use in another tv is not recognized by HDMI or by wifi dongle in my phone. So , it appear is completely empty. Please let me know how to solution this or refund my Money.

Directions were very brief on what to do. I followed and installed the proper app to connect to my internet and it would not show up on my scream I switch from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 and I switched tvs to see if it was just my living room tv. Dont waste your money on this product just pay more for the chromecast or google home.
