Great little PTC heating element/fan
Works well. Check the specs, this is a component, not a complete solution. Requires an external line voltage thermostat to control the temperature and a DC supply for the fan. Power spikes > 500w on startup until element warms, settles around 250w at 55ยฐC. PTC element doesn't melt down or catch fire if fan stalls.

Doesnโt over heat and burn up
This product is great. I use it to heat an outdoor cat house. The fan at one point got stuck on a small piece of wood and the heater fan all night without the fan. It did not over heat and burn my cat house down. When this thing gets hot it stops heating up. The hotter it gets the lower the wattage draw so it effectively holds a steady temp when things go wrong. Iโm thinking 200f since it didnโt melt the fan plastic. Awesome product and my cat loves it

Stopped working after a few minutes
I was going to use this as a permanent heater for a custom fermentation chamber that is currently using ceramic heat bulbs but after installing and running for the first 20 minutes at 95F setting the following happened: 1. Fan stopped working 2. Heat was still on thereby heating the plastic enclosure, it was very hot to the touch 3. Plastic smell is stinky Disassembled from the fermentation box, let it cool and tested it again on the workbench, fan and heater is working again, installed the 2nd time and ran for another 10 minutes, the same 3 things thing mentioned above happened again. Anyways maybe I can get it to work by separating the fan with metal spacers but the smell is not acceptable for food processing, I'm just worried the smell might impart a different flavor on the food

Meh
Hardly creates any heat, compared to other items I've tried connecting to solar panels.

Extra Power!!!!
I purchased this heater for an enclosed FDM 3D printer for printing ABS/ASA. I could achieve 45-50C within the chamber with the heated bed, and was able to print parts well enough. I just wanted to be able to achieve higher temperatures more quickly and reliably. I got this 110V "250W" heater so I would not need to upgrade or add another 24VDC PSU to my printer. I bench tested this with a manual switch, 12V PSU (for the fan) and Type K thermocouple to confirm the heater's function. On startup this heater will draw 650 watts (~5 amps) and heats air from 15C to ~160C. The heater settles at 350 watts (2.8 amps) and was able to maintain 63C in my enclosure. I have only used this heater for a single day with a manually switched heating system. I plan to integrate this into my printer with an SSR to control the enclosure temperature in the near future. Keep in mind this heater WILL draw more power than specified and size your controls accordingly. A nice value add, but risky if not designed for.

If you got a working item it would be great.
The heater element is perfect for what I wanted it for, itโs quite warm and heats up quickly... however the fan does not work.
