White Lily Self Rising Flour, Bleached, 5 lbs (2 Pack)

This flour makes the best biscuits. I absolutely love it 😍 ‼️

My White Lily flour arrived very quickly, and I received 2 5 pound bags, as stated in the description. One of the bags was ripped and the bottom, and was leaking. They put both of the 5 pound bags into a hugh Ziplock- type baggie, so at least the mess was contained in the bag. I ended up repackaging each bag into it's own Ziplock bag. One for my pantry, and one for my spare freezer. I made the recipe for the biscuits on the bag of the bag with a few "tweaks ", and they came out nice a light and flaky. Also, the value for the money was unbeatable. Even though Amazon said it wouldnt be coming until February 22, it arrived 3 days after I ordered it! I was super happy about that! Before I got my White Lily self rising flour. I was trying my hand at biscuit making using King Arthur self rising flour, and I could tell immediately that there is a huge difference between K.A.and White Lily. White Lily is far superior. Thanks to "Cooking with Brenda Gantt", I now get to have some southern biscuits up North. I would recommend this product to anyone!

After reading an article about making biscuits with this flour, I ordered some. OMG what a difference! I made pancakes using White Lily flour and another batch using a name brand “best” flour. The White Lily pancakes were light and fluffy. They were thicker than the name brand, yet not heavy. The “best” brand tasted great but were heavy and flat. My southern biscuits were amazing. I highly recommend this flour. It truly makes a difference!

I repeat, You want southern style biscuits? Buy this flour! you will love it.

Nice light biscuits that can only be achieved with White Lily. Expensive for what it is. Probably because it's heavy and expensive to ship.
