It doesn''t work at all. I have an iphone 8 with ios 12 and it's as if the thing isn't even plugged in. Waste of money.

This is the first and only time we ordered this item from this company. We needed to replace our current headphone adapters. Upon getting our order, one of the two adapters did not work. When plugged in, the volume control could not be adjusted on the phone. We asked for a replacement order. When the next ones came in the mail, one immediately broke in two pieces and the other one had a loose piece surrounding the plug. We cannot get another replacement. We will never order from this company again.

These adapters need to be removed from amazon. I have bought two 2 packs and 1 out of the 4 adapters worked. The one that did work only lasted for a week before falling all apart. The other 3 either no sound came through or it would would only pick up the instrumental no vocals. This product is junk! Do not purchase.

Both of mine worked at first...then would start cutting out, and I could jiggle it and get it to work again, then the wires just popped out from the plug (pic). I guess I could actually connect the wires myself, but why didn’t the seller?

I got the iPhone XS Max which, unfortunately, does not come with a lightning adapter. I have Beats headphones that I have used for several years with my older phone and have used since with an adapter from Apple that came with my sister’s iPhone 8+. The quality was entirely unaffected by her adapter; but because she still uses it, I bought these. But, alas, I will be returning them due to the undeniable sound of static that permeates through the music regardless of the volume. I will have to look for another supplier (hopefully Apple) as I will not forfeit my Beats for a newer phone.In short: don’t waste your time with these because the sound of static is enough to drive a 1950’s radio insane.

I bought a set to keep stationed at home and I make sure to pull it from the plastic part that actually plugs in and not by the cord part, however after using it less than a month it started to sound fuzzy and low so I wiggled the cord and it came out. The entire cord came out and I was left with the plug in part just stuck on my phone by itself. TRASH quality! and also you cannot use the volume control button it will not work.

These adapters do not appear to be grounded, a high pitched whistling sound is emitted whenever they're used. Tried both with multiple types of headphones - same background noise.

After less than an hour of normal use the first adapter broke. The second one then broke within minutes of normal use.
