Intex Quick-Fill Battery Powered Air Pump

This little pump works great! It inflated my air mattress in just a couple minutes and deflates it just as fast. Compact, lightweight, and easy to store. The different nozzle sizes fit everything I needed. Totally worth it!

This is a solid product and performs so well! Blows up our blow up pool in less than a minute. The battery feature is so nice as you don’t have to plug it in. It’s versatile and portable. Works quick and easy to use. Can’t recommend enough!

I bought this portable air pump so I can build a smoke thrower using PVC pipe, a glass bowl, and this pump. I bought this pump because it’s lightweight, green, “inflates” really hard and fast, it’s compact, and it works well/it’s built well.

This review is for Intex Quick-Fill Battery Air Pump, 6 C-Cell Battery, Max Air Flow 420 L/min The initial challenge is orientating the six C-Cell batteries into the battery compartment. Unfortunately, the device's battery compartment has no positive ( + ) or negative ( - ) markings, and the instructions say to reference a picture that is illegible for this purpose. You can play with the batteries, but there is at least one configuration that results in 1/2 power. The lid holds the only clues, which I figured out after swapping the batteries around for a while. The quick version is that the end with the hinge and the end with the latch are the only two points where the Negative (-) side goes up. The remainder of the batteries (despite being right next to each other on opposite sides) are Positive (+) terminals up (see pics). I am taking away a star for this as they should have marked the battery case with the needed orientation markings OR at a minimum provided clear instructions. I have provided a pic showing the batteries inserted and instructions next to the pump for reference. I'd recommend that after you confirm the orientation above woks for you - take a sharpie marker and label each battery spot to save you some time when you need to change out the batteries again. Once the batteries are properly inserted, it quickly fills my Klymit V Hammock Pad. The pump offers the ability to move the adapter (if needed) and use the intake port to help quickly deflate your item if desired. I wouldn't exactly call this pump 'light weight' as it has 6C batteries, but my scale shows that without the batteries inserted, pump with the adapter attached is 10.4 oz / 297.2g. Since this is a car camping tool, that's an very acceptable weight.

The quality of this is really great. My only complaint is that it’s kind of bulky. We carry this back-and-forth to the lake with us to inflate our inflatables so I’m sure you can understand why the bulkiness of it matters.

Terrible! We used this once, annd it barely worked, so we put it in the box and put it up. Then we pulled it out and put new batteries in it and went to use it again thinking maybe it was just the batteries or an issue on our end but no it’s the pump. This thing BARELY blows air. We I m talking I can blow things up with my mouth faster than with this and that’s with me taking multiple minute breaks multiple times so I don’t get light headed. This was supposed to prevent me from having to do so but instead I’m still stuck doing it the hard hard way cause it just does not work. I’ll attach a video it isn’t even strong enough to get a ballon to stand up… that’s how weak and terrible it is. And this is BRAND NEW batteries in this.

Very easy to use. It’s worth the money to buy this. I’ve bought this 3 months ago and it still works today! It airs up very quickly! I depend on this airing up my mattresses that are twins and a queen.

My manual pump is faster. That said, if you just can’t use the manual pump, this is the next best thing. After that is the car plug ones. It is easy to stow. Easy to use. Lightweight. (4 C cell batteries). Compact. A feature I really like is that on our kayaks, once you attach it to the valve, it stays until you remove it. Nice touch. It helps. I appreciate that. I just wish it went faster.

Probably the most shocking product design I ever seen in my life. There's nothing holding up the batteries and I needed to type them into place. It's super frustrating

The air pump looks fine but none of the attachments are compatible with the INTEX excursion Kayak inflation hose that comes with the kayak's stirrup pump. Shouldn't be advertised for kayak's if there's no attachments for inflation or even a way to attach the hose that comes with the kayak.

This is the best air pump i have ever owned! It inflates everything super fast! Very happy with this purchase.

Works perfectly. I used also the amazon C cell batteries and amazingly works well. The batteries last long.

Bought this to blow up a load of balloons for a party - it couldn't even partially inflate one. Sending back. This replaced a similar old (corroded) one that used 4 'D' batteries which had much more oomph.
