Waterproof COB LED Grow Light 300W, PDGROW Indoor LED Plant Grow Lamp Full Spectrum with ON/Off Switch, No Noise for Indoor/Outdoor Plants Flower Veg Seedling All Stage Growing

This product pushes the envelope by having a thermal housing that is low thermal resistance and lightweight. The LED panel out of the box consumes 150 Watts; then as the product heats up, the foldback power circuitry turns down the drive current to safe operating level for ambient temperature. While the back of the unit, directly under the COB gets hot to the touch, (177 F) within several inches towards the perimeter edge, the temperature comes right down, (81 F). This for a grow tent ambient temperature of 79 F.It appears that the unit could be serviced in the inevitable event of a COB failure. But there is no mention of the COB series or part number that is used in the unit. Also, there is no mention of PAR levels or illumination pattern. One would think that this type of information would be part of the standard LED light specification package.One reason I did not give the unit a five-star rating is that communication to the factory web site is non-existent. I've written two questions without a response. Not a good sign for warranty replacement or repair.So in summary, a COB LED grow light, "full spectrum", without the need for fans, lightweight, and waterproof. I would buy another IF I could get some answers on some product details, but until then I must caution patience.

I got this to light my reef tank refugium, so I could grow macro algae. It works very well for this purpose. The price/performance ratio is great.However, there is a complete lack of heatsinking on the housing (the top of this is simply a flat aluminum plate), so it gets so hot it's untouchable when running. I intend to add a fan and possibly stick a couple old CPU heatsinks on there so this thing doesn't burn up... or burn down my house.High-power LEDs typically get dimmer if they run too hot, and it looks like this fixture may have lost some brightness since I got it a few months ago, but I don't have a light meter to test that.

Really liked this product, it outputs a lot of light without the noise. Light is very thin and comes with hooks to mount the light to the ceiling. Overall great product, watch my video for the full review.

Lights are bright but light switch went soft within 2 days and wont stay on had to tape it up to make it stay on.Update: Switch completely failed. Great light with a very poor switch.

Purchased three of the 300w version. 1 of the 3 has a problem with the power switch. It is loose and doesn't stay clicked on. The switch has no resistance and will move freely causing the light to turn off.

Its actually waterproof! WOW! Has great brightness! Exactly what I needed!

Switch is junk. i had to remove switch and hardwire it all together and used a wifi outlet to control the light. The light is very bright and seems solid but the switch is junk!!!
