It feels great in the hand, and if you pair it correctly (instructions are a little opaque, you use right dpad and home together to put it in android mode), it works well for some games.Now this is where the issue comes in. You cannot keymap the touchscreen easily, and because this is a partial controller (has no abxy pad), even some games that work with controllers will not function without that. The octopus app cannot keymap this way without root access.However, PPSSPP, and dolphin emulator can both keymap their controllers to this controller, and some games like 'bully' can detetc a controller, but leave up the touchscreen keys (and so work). It's a great little controller, and it's a great price, but keep this in mind; it won't work for every game, unless you have a rooted device, and even then it'll be complicated to set up. However if you are on an emulator tip, you'll be pretty golden. Playing emulated games with this, versus the touch screen are different worlds.

Didnt work for me at all. Tried 3 diff phones and would never connect to the app. Would connect but not fully to be able to use it. Very disappointed since I was so excited to use it. Waste of money and time.

This controller is branded Ipega. I do own an Ipega controller already and it works just fine whit all my android devices. This one will connect but will require you to install a trashy app for the sole purpose to make you buy more crap. Even if you go through all this, the app will tell you that the controller is incompatible whit your devices. I've tried 3 devices so far, but nothing!To make matters worse the games have to run through the app. and in order to connect the app to your Google profile you have to pay 1.99$ or your savings are gone!

Very simple and easy to use, was looking for something small for my ipad mini and sometimes for my phone when used by my kids. This was just perfect!!

Im using this for Android / Mobile Legends.When i connected with home key it wasnt working nothing would move. Till i red Jamie K review. By default home key is iso mode. To use android you home dpad right + home.I have octopus and a BT gamepad but doesnt work to mazing with that gamepad.This pad had joystick and allows me to use my right side touch screen. Its much nice to play like this. Thanks for the awesome product.

El aparato fisicamente no esta mal, en el área en que se esta deficiente, es el hecho que aparte de comprar el aparato, terminas por adquirir una aplicación adicional, la cual tiene un costo y en la descripción inicial del aparato nunca hace mención de este hecho.... aparte de esto se requiere de un proceso de activación que deja mucho por desear. solamente una vez pude lograr que se activará en mi celular un S10+.Sin embargo, si apagas y vuelves a encender tu teléfono, este pierde la activación y hasta la fecha no he podido lograr que se active nuevamente.realmente es un producto que en mi opinión está incompleto y no es recomendable su adquisición.

First of all, the idea is fantastic. The thumbstick actually makes a world of difference looking at the screen and seeing what you are doing instead of having two meaty thumbs blocking everything. So why am I giving this two stars?In order to get this to work with anything, they require you to use an app called Octopus which is a keymapper for touch screen controllers. What they do!n't tell you is any game that catches you using that program will ban you for 3rd party programs being installed.So how about Steam Link? Or maybe emulators like Dolphin or Retroarch?

For some reason it won’t sync with my iPhone and I’ve followed the included instructions. It wasn’t expensive so I’m not too bummed out about it other than I can’t be helpful on my mobile playing Fortnite with my son while he’s away for the summer. I’ll keep trying and rate it higher if it decides to work for me.
