BreathGemz All Natural Mint Coated Breath Capsules (8 Packs of 50)

Every bit as good as MintAsure (formerly BreathAsure). These are exactly the same thing, except they are not individually foil bubble-wrapped, and the coating doesn't melt to adhere to other capsules while in the case. And some sellers on here are robbing customers, charging over $180 for 3 packages of a $12 per-package product. These BreathGemz, on the other hand, are appropriately priced, and I will be a customer for life if they maintain these prices.If you're wondering how they work, they aren't "mints" that you chew or suck to get rid of bad breath. These are gel capsules you swallow like pills that release parsley seed oil and sunflower seed oil into your stomach to neutralize bad breath at its source. I've been a long-time user of BreathAsure (and when the Rainbow Lite company switched formulation to add the mint coating, a long-time user of MintAsure). Both brands work surprisingly well. They are definitely confidence boosters: you can eat whatever you like and not worry about stinky breath--even garlic and onions!If you take more than the recommended dose, it's not harmful, but you might have parsley tasting burps (which I don't mind, personally). They work pretty much for around 4 hours, like any other OTC supplement. Pop 2 or 3 before a meeting, a date, whatever. You literally will have neutral breath (unless you have certain tooth or gum diseases that will be unaffected by these caps). The mint coating is a gimmick, and probably more effective at helping you conjure up saliva to swallow the capsules without liquid, than it is at covering up bad odors. If you really need the added confidence, you could always down a couple of these and then suck or chew your favorite mints. The BreathGemz will do the heavy lifting by neutralizing the worst odors (even your burps won't stink), and the mint can take care of the residual odors from your mouth. But proper dental hygeine should suffice.I will say the units I received had an expiration date of 1 month away (3/2015, when I ordered them 2/2015). This isn't a big deal to me, since I don't really "believe" in expiration dates. The FDA requires water to have an expiration date, for instance. Water. So this might be an issue for you, but it wasn't for me. The containers are not individually plastic seal wrapped either. They should last years in the package, as long as they are kept in a relatively non-humid environment. At this price, why not try them out? Give some to friends! Get this company some business!

Not long lasting at all

I actually really like this product, no issues there. But I do have an issue with the packaging.I've ordered several boxes, twice. Both times, one of the little containers came open in the shipping bag and spilled out - it was quite tacky.It doesn't seem safe or wise that there is no safety seal over the little flip-up opening of the box. No shrink wrap, no tape, nothing. And they can come open in the mail.On the plus side, a keep a container of BreathGemz in my car and they do NOT get sticky or gooey in the heat - the mints stay separated and dry. Can't say that about all breath mints, no you cannot.

I've been using these for a few years and they always work to kill food-related bad breath. I find it also helps with body odor as well; when I'm getting in a good, sweaty workout or am up on stage I prefer not to share the remnants of my previous meal with those around me.

My breath stays fresh for hours after swallowing 3 of those little mints I like that better then chewing gum or just a plain old breath mint.
