DVD-R but it has so many extras! Fine film if overly long and episodic. Peter Lorre has a cameo. I always like David Niven.

Phineas Fogg and Passapartout will take you around the world on an adventure like none other. In the process, they will be plagued by a constant foe. In the end, the foe will get his comeuppance.

This excellent mini series starring Pierce Brosnan is the best version ever of Around the World in 80 Days. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who has an interest the story...Terrific cast, great script, and around the world settings, naturally.. The director is same who made the excellent "George Washington" mini series...

I saw this in the theater when it was new. After the horribly reworked BBC-PBS series I had to search out the real movie. SO MUCH BETTER. Yes, it is dated and contains some not to good ethnic passages here but the movie is all around the best. Filmed on many locations, and a treat.

I loved this show when it aired in the 80's and I love it just as much now. Great costumes, fun set pieces and just the right amount of silliness.

Absolutely a great version to watch. I ordered this from the U.S. hoping to get a better quality video. In the States reviewers complained about the quality of the video on the DVD. On Amazon UK I did not see any negatives on the quality of the video. Sadly the video quality is the same. It reminds one of watching TV growing up with the antenna on the roof. I can compare the US & UK DVD because I have both. I wanted to rip this mini series to play off a Plex(NAS Box) and didn't do it the first time because the video quality was not great. So only 4 stars because of the video quality but the mini series is great! If I were to rate it on video quality alone...2-3 stars

I was very let down by DVD. It has many blank breaks were nothing is shown but music played. It is only half of the story so another DVD will have to be bought to complete the film. VERY VERY POOR. Wish i could send it back. Waste of money.

The DVD came up to expectations and was very enjoyable.ECM.

It was in Dutch and I was expecting it to be in English. not clear in the add. (Very Unhappy)
