CasioMen's W213-2AVCF Basic Blue and Black Digital Watch

This is a small watch (case diameter 40mm) - about the size of a  Casio Baby-G Shock Watch .Although it's certainly not G Shock tough, this watch is well built and makes a great utilitarian work watch.The blue on black bezel is actually quite fashionable ... it complements my blue jeans :))BASIC FEATURES: Stopwatch, count-down timer, 5 alarms, dual time-zoneCONS: The ILLUMINATOR lettering on the watch case and the 'Product Description' - "EL backlight with Afterglow" is misleading. The backlight is in fact, a small LED in the corner of the screen - bright enough to light up the screen. However, typical of LED light sources, it brightens the part of the screen near the LED more than the rest of the screen. The LED backlight is certainly no even glow like electro-luminescent / EL / Indiglo illuminator, but it works ... I can see the time in the dark.If you like the feel of a lightweight watch on your hands, with the basic features, and best of all - simple to use ... then this  Casio Men's Basic Blue and Black Digital Watch  is the one!UPDATE: I bought another  Casio Men's Basic Blue and Black Digital Watch  for a young family member instead of a Baby-G.He loves it! Took my teen a little time to figure out how to set it upfront but not difficult to do so. He’s wore it at the lake & pool at camp without any issues. He loves how it looks and it a good size, not too bulky or small.

This Casio digital watch turned out to be a great buy! Five plus years later, this watch is still keeping great time, holding up well and is still on its first battery. We purchased it for our son who, at the time, we just wanted him to have a watch so he could be in by dinnertime. Turns out it worked great for that so it has since been used by our two younger kids as well. They have swam in it, banged it around and it is still in great shape. The functions are easy to use and the LCD, while not a giant screen, is clear to read.

I gifted my little brother this watch for his birthday. I was trying to find a watch that wouldn’t be huge on his smaller kid arms. Additionally the face is easy for him to read and the alarms help him manage his time. Only issue is we’ve had to replace the band once but kids are hard on things and I take it as a positive that the watch survived longer then the band.

5 alarms, a countdown timer, a stopwatch, and 2 time zones - this watch is great! It's easy to use in the dark because of the backlight, and the main time screen has a different beep sound making it even easier to scroll through the different modes. It never has to be charged, it's super light, and if you break it or lose it, it was only $15, so just get a new one! Coming from a smart watch that I liked before it broke, I like this so much more! I forgot about the convenience of a simple watch. It's not jewelry or the newest tech, but it works so well!

Excellent replacement/alternate watch, considering it's not a "high dollar" model. I bought it as a back up to my other watch of the same type, and I was surprised to see it has a 10 year battery (didn't think that was possible; will see). Anyway, the five alarms are nice to have, it looks nice; with decent sized numbers for me (eyesight's not what it used to be). Nice color. My other is black and silver this is as pictured, black and blue; which is cool, as I like both colors. Nifty little inexpensive watch to have. It includes manual, which the Casio Men's AW80D-1AVCB 10-Year Battery Ana-Digi Bracelet Watch did not, reviewed separately.

This watch works well, but not the band. I like the watch's great appearance, the dual time, the stop watch, the alarm, and being water proof. My only complaint about this and the last four other Casio watches I have had is that the battery and electronics far outlast the plastic/resin wrist band that it comes with. I have had several of these ten-year battery watches now that have a 1-1.5 year band that starts cracking, tearing, and falling off way too soon. Even worse, most are non-standard bands that cannot be easily matched and replaced. Most replacement casio bands cost $12 when the whole watch costs $14. I now only take my watch off one to two times per year to make the resin band not crack or break apart as quickly. I wish Casio would sell these with an extra band, or that somebody in China would start making cheap knock-off compatible replacement bands for this model and I would love this product. In summary, this is a great watch with a poor to mediocre resin band that will only last you a max of 18 months.

Took about 3 minutes to figure out the functions. Works really well. I have a couple use cases where this is easier than just using my phone.Watch is slightly smaller than I expected. I suggest you double-check the size and consider a larger model.

I don't normally write long review, but this is a great watch. Being super light and cheap are icing on the cake. Casio is a known reliable brand. I have larger and smaller Casio watches, and I like them, but this is the perfect watch. Its weight is 28g. I have another Casio watch which is 45g and bulky, and it's not comfortable if I were to wear it the entire day. I had another cheap Casio watch which is ~21g, which I feel to be too light.Some other reviewers complaint this is too small and looks like a kid's, women's, or teenager's watch. It is on the small and light sides, so make sure you know what you are getting. I am a 5'10 male with slim build and small wrists, I think it's perfect.

worked great for 3 months then just died. checked 10yr battery was fine measured at 3.0volts. tried tweezer reset of touching ac pad to negative frame and no go. disappointed. probably should have stuck with a local casio distributer instead of amazon usa in order to facilitate warranty claim. tks for reading
