Junior Director Chair, Blue Mesh

I have one of these little child-size director chairs (all red with red mesh seat) from over 25 years ago that has my youngest son's name on it. I believe it was an offer via some product we had purchased . . . like cereal or something. The brand on the chair's tag was Tike Hike. When I looked that up to try and see if these chairs were still being made, Hoohobbers came up. I was very pleased to see that the same chair is still being made in many colors and a couple fabric choices. The original chair has held up great (looks like new) after over a quarter century of use by various little ones and now that we have a couple toddler grandchildren in the house, we needed another. I am very happy with the new chair (mesh fabric like my original and in primary colors) and it is virtually identical to the original. I'm thinking this would be an excellent choice for future baby shower or toddler birthday gifts. The 15-month-old and 18-month-old that toddle around this house love the chairs. They carry them around, sit in them, put toys on them - one puts the two together and uses one as a "foot stool!" They will probably fit into them fine for, at least, another couple of years. Love the mesh because it is airy and super easy to keep clean. Have not yet used as a strapped-on-booster seat, but may try that out soon. Highly reccommend!

I had similar chairs for my children 40 years ago, which were used until they could no longer squeeze themselves in to.We had for about 12 years then gave the still in great condition chairs to another family. I was so pleased to find this for my grand daughter! Perfect sized chair, folds for storing and light weight so they can move themselves. If the child is very young, you may need to remind them not to put their weight on the side arms so as not to tip over. but our one year old had no problem. Great product!

This is such a cute chair!! Very sturdy and my grandson loves to carry it around to sit on in different rooms. Great purchase!!!

Very handy, transportable chair for toddler use at parks, picnics, a craft table, anywhere you need a chair for a little one. From a very young age crawling/walking babies may be able to set it up themselves, which is great -- but note that if they are wobbly, they might push it over and wobble over with it. At least this has happened for us once or twice, but nothing serious. I would have liked it if the fabric was removable and washable, but it doesn't seem to be from what I can tell. Still, it's a useful and enjoyed item. Recommended!

I purchased 2 of these chairs for my 2 year old granddaughters. They are quite small - the one who is taller will be out of it in a year. They do tip backwards easily because they are so light, so have to teach the girls not to lean back. But they use them in their playhouse and in their princess tent - perfect size!

Bought 2 of these chair for my son in case his friend coming over. Unfortunately he doesn't like to sit when another kid is around, but he has been using this chair all the time when he's playing on his own at the kiddie table. This chair comes with separate strap and can be used as bolster seat but I haven't had him try it. These chairs are very easy for toddler to operate, we always store it in his room and he can carry and set it up in front TV when he'd like to watch some DVD. It is quite practical to bring to the beach or picnic, not to mention it's really really cute.Off topic: I originally ordered this from the Hoobbobbers shop in Chicago, but the calculated shipping cost to Hawaii was more than the 2 chairs itself! Thanks to Super Saver Shipping, yes it did take longer than when I was in mainland but this what makes me keep on coming back to Amazon.

These chairs are way too small and un sturdy for a toddler. That’s more than 12 months old.

This is the exact height I was looking for for my 2 year old! It folds, it’s great quality, and it comes with a strap in case you need to secure it into a chair. The material is durable and it’s like a mini directors chair. It’s absolutely perfect for the station I envisioned making for my daughter.
