OEM part! Perfect fit for my ‘99 T4R.

The rear window wiper in my 2002 Toyota 4Runner isn't one of the standard ones that fits the universal attachment blades they stock at the normal auto parts stores. In addition to being weirdly short, it's got a unique screw-in-place connector that is unlike any other wiper blade I've ever seen.This appeared to be a new old stock original Toyota part, still in the OEM packaging. For some reason the parts department at my local Toyota dealership can't order these anymore, but Amazon has them, of course. I'll be ordering another one to keep in reserve for when this one inevitably wears out.It didn't come with any instructions, but it didn't really need any and I was able to figure out how to install it easily. The old one was held on with two JIS Phillips screws, and the old screws easily came out and fit to hold the new wiper blade in place.

Because they use a proprietary connector - you have to get this or exchange out rubber to fit the old wiper blade - which I used to do but then the old metal begins to fail and you need to get a new one. But gen 3 4runners are worth it... for whatever you need to do to it....

I LOVE this windshield Wiper. It was hard to find a model that actually worked because the ones I bought aftermarket didn't clean the glass as neatly as this one. This version has a special spring that allows the Wiper to bend just enough to clean the glass completely. That spring is what was missing from my last one. I love it because it is also a great DIY fix and it fits my 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 (3rd Gen) perfectly

For reference, I purchased this for $13.20 on Feb 3, 2017 and today it is listed as $20. It's replacement blade, end of story!FYI, if you damage one of the screw heads (like I did) when removing the screws on my 1997 3rd generation 4Runner, the replacement screw is actually 6-40 threads. Not hard to find necessarily, but why did Toyota do this?? So weird it's not metric. Took me awhile to figure out which screw was a replacement.

This genuine part was the perfect rear wiper replacement for my 1999 Toyota 4Runner. The original, 25-year-old rubber came loose in our Southern summer heat this year and dangled from the rear window wiper blade. Removing and replacing the old blade with this one took less than a minute. It works great.

This is an exact fit for the third gen 2001 Toyota 4Runner.Toyota has a very specific wiper that can only be bought through toyota.Very quick and easy installation.
