Review: Soft, don't stick to wound and perfect size for protection between bandages and stitches. - I needed a non adhesive pad to protect my pal and wrist stitches in my hand. These were perfect for I was able to cut them to fit. They are extremely gentle dressing pads which protect stitches under bandages, they feel great, the price and quality are within my budget and more affordable than the trip to Wally World! . Many of the non adhesive or non stick are too thick and scratchy. I needed a this pad to place between elastic bandage and my palm for a no stick, absorb any drainage and not irritate the area by being a protective pad for the wrist and stitched areas of my hand. Great to have around for any first aid bandage or emergency for wounds too big for a band aid.
Review: Works well ad does the job - Good quality pads for keeping a wound from sticking to the bandage. I used a little Vaseline around the wound and the pad comes off nicely. Used gauge to wrap to hold pad in place. Will buy again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: It sounds like this cannot be used to absorb on both sides (unusual wounds), you have to use two of these?**
A: Sides are interchangeable,  both same. Would expect both sides to absorb, not highly absorbant - but doesn't stick!

**Q: are the pads individually wrapped?**
A: yes, the ones I bought were individually wrapped.

**Q: Expiration date?**
A: These are individually wrapped gauze pads. I do not believe there is an expiration date.  However, after a year or so they might start to yellow and I would not use them.

**Q: are they 12 ply?**
A: Curad does not state anything about 12-ply or how many layers are in this pad.  This is a non-stick pad similar to Telfa.  It is a cotton or cotton-like pad with a non-stick outside layer, which helps the pad not stick to wounds as much as a regular 4 x 4 gauze pad would.

Good quality pads for keeping a wound from sticking to the bandage. I used a little Vaseline around the wound and the pad comes off nicely. Used gauge to wrap to hold pad in place. Will buy again.

I had a wound that kept getting rubbed by my clothes and sticking to regular bandages, which made it take much longer to heal. After switching to these pads, it healed much more quickly. The pads don’t stick to the wound, but they still absorb drainage well, which helps keep the wound clean and dry. The size is generous enough for larger wounds, and they’re also easy to cut down for smaller areas when needed. You also get a generous amount for the price. I was changing the dressing several times a day, and I still have plenty left. Hopefully I won’t need them often, but they’re definitely something I’ll continue to keep in my first aid supplies. I highly recommend them.
