Original vinyl LP. In June 1975 jazz legends Tony Bennett and Bill Evans got together for the first album of a two album venture. Keeping it simple with just a piano and vocals, the two cut through 9 great standards. While it was their first album together, they play seamlessly together while improvising and exploring the melodies of these tunes. Songs include "Young and Foolish," "The Touch of Your Lips," "Some Other Time," "When in Rome," "My Foolish Heart," "Days of Wine and Roses" and more. It is a classic album sure to find a happy home in your collection.

One of my favorites
I have never owned this one on vinyl and wanted it. It is a fairly good pressing but I did notice some distortion at points right out of the sleeve. I run a Pro-Ject SB with a Sumiko Bluepoint #2.

Bad pressing ruins an amazing album with the first song in particular
This would be 5 stars if the quality of the LP was there--- the music is over 5 stars but the first track in particular sounds atrocious with a ton of snap, crackle, pop noise.... Even the replacement Amazon sent me suffered from same issues on the same song. The problem? The first song is priceless and needs to be heard without the defective sound of this pressing. Bummer indeed.

Poor pressing, poor value
When you pay a premium price for a new pressing you deserve better. Surface scuffs on vinyl, surface noise on playing, cheap paper inner sleeve. And an incredibly short playing time. Pass on this one unless you are a completist.

Dinner listening at its finest
Two masters of their craft in their prime paired up for one incredible album.

Great trip down the Bennett and Evans road.
Jazz at its best. Arrangements, Tony's vocals, LP audio quality, ALL, well worth the price of this music trip.

The best of the best:
Two real pros mix it up. It's like sitting at a classy piano bar.
