A well made battery that is consistent in output. I would however have liked to be able to purchase the 4Ahr. model since using it with my strimmer blade it only lasts for a few minutes.These are seemingly a little scarce at the moment, it means that for me to get 4Ahrs. I have to purchase two batteries so the cost jumps up considerably.Still with that said, the heat build up in them is less, and I suppose that will lead to a longer life span for the 2Ahrs. type.I did have a so called 5Ahr. copy of the battery that performed perfectly for three or four discharge and recharge cycles, then it died, shorted cell or cells internally, can I get a replacement no chance. In conclusion do not buy copies, they are rubbish and you have no actual warranty with them since to send the back to the supplier is at your cost and they then tell you that you have abused the battery.Stick to the real thing, you can be sure that the warranty is real, in the unlikely chance that you need it.

I purchased 2 of these batteries while they were on a special discounted price and a Greenworks G40UC4 40V Fast Charger. The reason I bought 2 batteries was to allow me to charge a battery while using the other. The batteries recharge fully using the fast charger in under 30 minutes while a larger 4ah would take 60 minutes but last longer and was more than twice the price. You do need to bare in mind that once the battery has been used it will not charge straight away as the charger recognises high temperature. The battery can be placed on the charger and the built in fan cools the battery in 15 mins before recharge starts.My only slight complaint is the time it takes the batteries to run out of charge. I also purchased the GD40LM46SP 40V Lawn Mower 46cm Self-Propelled on a special price from Amazon and the battery lasts 15 minutes if I cut and use the self drive. The mower by the way is brilliant (see my other review). I have a large sloping uneven garden so really I should have bought 3 batteries or a larger AH rated battery but that was costly. All in all a great system that I would highly recommend.

Purchased to stop the inevitable from happening- an expensive addition to an expensive hedge trimmer but ensures the inevitable battery running out is minimised.Unsure why on earth a second battery isn’t offered at a discounted price when purchasing a tool at this price point but I’ve come to learn that there a lot of things in life that I don’t understand.The test battery level button is handy to check the charge level.First I impression is that the battery is quite bulky (maybe the 40v need the space).

yes this item done the job nicely so far. we ordered 1 and a couple weeks later ordered a 2nd to replace the older worn out one(s). UPs delivered 1st one end to me on the door step. Sadly 2nd one dumped on door step NO knock nothing. Shame on you UPs. Bt both worked or to date has worked and charged fine.

Works well but battery life not as good as expected for a 40volt battery that is very expensive, should last longer

Very good. Charges quickly and keeps its charge

So far so good charged as normal, this was a replacement for battery that wouldn’t charge. I haven’t used with strimmer yet but will later.

Both the original order and this replacement did not recognise compatible standard chargers. These lithium batteries have evidently been stored for years and are fully discharged so voltage is critically low. No response from Greenworks after eight days despite 48 hour promise.

Batterie 40V 2A parfaite pour ma Debrouillasseuse. S'adapte sur chargeur 40V 2A uniquement . C'est parfait.
