Great peppermill
I bought this to replace my original wood pepper grinder. It's a great size for two or three people. Easy to grip and turn the grinder and super easy to fill, clean and adjust. I like the catch all at the bottom so you can either grind a larger amount then dump it or take it off and grind without it I use it both ways. It looks great, small profile. I do think it's a bit expensive but if you have arthritis or functional issues with your hands or wrists from turning a regular grinder this one is easy to use.

THE BEST Peppermill EVER!!
This is the BEST peppermill you will ever buy!!! First, you don't need a funnel to fill it! 2nd, it is easy to use and if you get the clear one, you can tell how much you have left in it! LOVE this product! AND, I was watching a video from a famous Chef and he was using one!! (Don't know if I can mention names, but the initials for the famous French Chef are J.P.) You will NOT regret it! Because it is so easy to use and refill, I also bought one for my Mom to use!

It works great!
I love it. The adjustable grind, ease of turning a knob vs the twisting and the cover that catches your pepper so you can measure it out, if needed. I usually just sore the extra ground pepper in the cap.

Best I've found!
I collect pepper mills. Not because I want to, because I am trying to find one that works well. This is it! It grinds very coarse (peppercorns barely cracked), to very fine. Finally the holy grail of pepper grinders!

Excellent grinder; I just wish the coarseness control was easier to use
It's really easy to churn out a lot of pepper with this, and it adjusts from pretty fine powder to convincing coarse. It won't give you cracked pepper but that's ok, a couple of whacks in a mortar and pestle will do that. My only gripe is that the coarseness control is hidden with no meter marks, a situation exacerbated by the unmarked knob only stopping at the coarse end but not at the fine end (just continues to turn, which is expected behavior according to the seller answering my question on this site). But I'm enjoying using it and really like the optional cup on the bottom; no more grinding onto a folder paper towel.[Added Aug 12: the coarseness knob stopped working after just a few days of using the grinder; I'm expecting a replacement from Amazon tomorrow and will update this a few days later]

Good for high quantity pepper, and it has a course dial for those who like finer or course pepper
I ordered 2 of these I love them so much. Thank you Jacques Pepin and Ina Garten. They are really good pepper grinders for large quantities of pepper. There is a dial that you turn for which you can control the course of your pepper corn. I like mine at a medium course vs restaurant table pepper. You can use this for course salt too.

An excellent company with excellent products and excellent customer service.
My story:I would like to shout out my highest appreciation for Seth. He is an excellent example of the kind of customer service that wins and keeps customers. When my wife came to me complaining that a piece from her PapperMate had gone missing and that I may have had a role in its disappearance, I eventually got in touch with Seth and tried to explain the situation. Being short on specifics, I sent photos of our grinder. My description of a missing part proved to be off the mark, but Seth was more than determined to be of help. He promised to find and send the mysterious part. Well, in this he failed, possibly because the part I described so poorly did not exist. Instead he sent us a brand new PepperMate at no charge, an action well beyond expectations. He has earned his company good will, word-of-mouth advertising, and customer loyalty for life.
