This thing works great. I own an iPhone 6, I had a similar car phone mount that I had been using for the past 2-3 years, and because of normal wear and tear, now it doesn't hold its suction for very long anymore--and always had done well with that up until now. I was so happy with that one, because the "claws" that one had on the top and bottom were four separate pieces that you could slide back and forth and make them hold the phone on wherever you wanted, avoiding covering up the jacks for the charger and radio transmitter. So I could always ensure that I could plug in my radio transmitter into the earbuds jack, as well as my charger for road trips. When I found this one, I was apprehensive because I didn't know if I would be able to plug in my radio transmitter *and* charger while using it, because of the "claws" that hold the phone at the bottom. I couldn't tell by the picture on amazon if it would work. But it works like a charm, like it was designed specifically for the iPhone 6! (I'm sure it will be fine for all of the phones it says it will work for.Another nice feature is being able to remove it my phone with one hand. Squeeze the two buttons on the side, and your fingers naturally cradle the phone as it is released from the mount's grip. Put it back with one hand too. There's a "trigger" where the back of the phone rests against the mount, and once you push your phone against it, the arms on each side of your phone lock into place, securing your phone. Very clever! On my old mount, which I LOVED, it was almost impossible to remove my phone with one hand without dropping the phone, so I love this!As far as the customer service goes, delivery was prompt, just as promised, and the seller followed up after the item was delivered to make sure I was happy. (And I was!) I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again!

My first car cradle, I wanted something small and light and universal for my Moto X (2013). This came promptly, installs quickly, holds strongly to the window, and sits quietly waiting for my phone (enough adverbs for everyone? Surely?)The assembly snaps onto the phone when you place it in the cradle, then snaps open when you trigger the unlocking buttons. The end piece adjust, oh, probably an inch in and out so you can configure the arms to press on the phone and not on your volume buttons.The Moto X (2013) has both power and volume on one side, so the buttons extend almost to the centerline of the phone. You CANNOT mount the first gen Moto X vertically in this mount even with the bottom arms extended. The side arms will touch the volume button. If you invert the holder so the arms are on the sides and TOP it will fit, but the side arms aren't quite strong enough to hold the phone safely in tension alone.Now, if you have the phone SIDEWAYS then you can mount it so the arms are on the side and top of the phone, and the phone is 90 degrees so the power/volume buttons are on top. If you're using a map or GPS program, this is fine. The phone is very secure this way, and this is how I use it.

I was so looking forward to using this phone mount for my Samsung Galaxy 5 and old Garmin but it has turned out to be worthless. In addition, what I was sent does not resemble the photograph online. (The one I have has a square cradle with "feet," not the circular one seen here.)The cradle for the phone/electronic device does not fit securely into the window mount due to its poor design. Hit one bump or pot hole -- or turn one corner -- and the entire cradle dislodges from the window mount, sending your phone flying. (This happened to me countless times before I stopped using this product.) Not only is the product useless, it can potentially damage your phone and be a driving hazard. It also is too small to hold my Garmin GPS.I meant to return this but I see my window of opportunity has expired. The deadline for returning was 2 days ago. This item has been resting on the floor in my car as it is worthless and I intended to return it.I gave it one star because the suction mount really works well. And that's all that works. Avoid this item.

Just bought it; works better than the phone mount I bought for 3 times the cost from the phone store 3 years ago (which just broke). Both hold my Samsung Galaxy S5 while still in the case (a big plus). As there are a LOT of potholes in the road, I'm not sure how well it will hold the phone horizontally; haven't tried it yet. I agree with the assessment that most dashboards are textured, and it won't hold to those, although it works fine from the windshield, and the suction cup holds VERY tightly (although it is a good idea to clean the area of the windshield first). 5 Stars instead of 4 because of the price.

I ordered this for a trip over spring break. It was amazing. It stuck to my windshield and never slipped. I was able to adjust the clip to hold my phone perfectly. I would defiantly recommended this to anyone. I used a galaxy S4, but during our trip my phone had a few issues with connection so I used my daughters Iphone. Its a little larger than my phone but still fit well.

I've been looking for a mount that would hold my iPhone6 without removing the case. This mount worked great.It stuck to my windshield without any trouble. It has made utilizing the gps on my phone easy and safe.The only minor downside is it's a bit awkward to "lock" the phone in place since you have press down on your phone to activate the locking mechanism. This was not enough of an issue for me though to rate it less though.

Liked it at first but then it kinda went down hill. Went to hook my phone up to it only for it to snap in my hand.

Highly recommend. I use mine all the time with my smart phone. Easy to take on and off and easy to adjust. Place for charger cord to go through.
