Came quick and fairly easy to install. They dont quite look like a nice whisker ball. But also dont hang like the skirt on a fishing jig like some of the pics show. I can only guess that the manufacturers of some of these whiskers don't know how they are supposed to look on a bow lol but all in all these look pretty good and did seem to help quit down some string twang. Plus they came in a pack of 6, which is nice cuz the first set I totally wrecked trying to put on. I reccomend cutting these in half and double them up when u wrap around the string. Or they will look pretty sparse

These "whisker silencers" are as close to the classic original that I have been using on all my bows since 1985. They tie on easy and fray apart nicely to make for a good string sound deadening device on your bow. I have used them on everything from 40-75# compounds to 30-50# recurves.1. They arrived quickly and well packaged.2. They are easy to work with and match up to the originals perfectly.3. They are lightweight and tunable like the originals.4. You can tie them long or fold them and make little fluff balls if you want. The photos show some that I folded in half so they are a medium size. The ILF limbs and string need a little more dampening so I felt I wanted to leave them longer than the little folded twice fluff balls I usually make.5. If you leave them longer you can use them as a wind indicator when hunting.6. They are absolutely good luck, which is why every bow I have ever owned since 1985 has had whiskers installed on it. My hunting success went through the roof after the first time I installed whiskers and I have never shot a bow since without whiskers. Even the deadly quiet carbon compound bow I bought last year got treated to whiskers. Later in that year I picked up a Saber Elite recurve and it needed some silencing, so it got whiskers too. This bow I just installed them on is only a 30# bow I am using for indoor target and 3D shooting. Yep, it got whiskers and I expect the luck quotient just went through the roof. Actually I went out and verified this and couldn't believe the improvement of my instivtive shooting accuracy. I have had this new bow about 2 weeks and I shot the best I ever have with it today after installing whiskers.7. They come in many colors.8. They look cool.9. They make your bow look cool.10. Broke apart after a season

I've switched to these just because the furry ones don't do well in the rain. Don't excpect it to eliminate all the noise. For my recurve, it just muffled the high pitch snap to a lower "thud". I'm shooting a 71# custom one piece recurve. Works for me!WHATS FOR DINNER, PATTY!!?
