My Go-To Bead Weaving Thread
I've been bead weaving for about 15 years and I've tried a lot of threads for bead weaving. This is be far my favorite and my go-to thread for most projects. It is consistent in thickness throughout the spool and it doesn't stretch out of shape. It frays at the working end much less than other bonded and non-bonded threads I've used. I like all of the colors, but I use the green and grey most as it blends well with in projects. I almost always get the 125 yard spools. I don't like to run out. I like this weight, aka size, of the thread, because it allows for passing through each bead quite a lot of times for the more detailed projects. I use Wildfire thread for nearly everything except for fringe. Because it's bonded it isn't as soft as is needed for a nicely flowing beaded fringe. It rarely breaks while working on a project as long as you pull on the thread and not on needle to get the length through the bead. In other words, the eye of the needle can fray the thread, but that's the case with every thread I've use. Otherwise, it's super durable and easy to use. I definitely recommend it.

love it for warp threads in bead looming projects
I have this in both colors on this listing (black and white, aka "frost"). It is opaque thread, not translucent. I personally do not use it for stringing through beads. Even though it is quite tough, it has a diameter that is just too big for multiple passes through smaller seed beads and, say, 3 mm firepolished glass beads, which are mostly what I have been using lately. (I have been into right angle weave lately and I find I need to go through the same bead several times to get the right degree of tension in my work.) It would definitely work in a single stranded project, however, if you are so inclined, as it can definitely take a fair amount of weight (although I tend to use Accuflex or Softflex wires for single-stranded projects). However, if you like to do loomed beadwork, this is awesome for the warp threads. It has provided a very sturdy base for the bracelets I've made so far (I tried one with Fireline, and that worked too, but I think this has a better drape). When I am putting the needle on the second pass through the beads on the loom (that is, going back to the starting point so I can add a second row), it does not put holes in or fray this Wildfire thread if I accidentally hit it as I go by. So I know my warp threads are going to be secure. It doesn't stretch, and I have definitely put that to the test since I am using a Jewel Loom (which stays bent in a bow shape after removing a metal cross bar -- stretchy threads don't keep the loom bent). This has a bit of stiffness but it does end up draping well, at least in loomed bracelets. (If you want to hide the black or white at the edges of the loomed piece, you can add a little seed bead detailing along the edges.) It knots very well, which is nice, and it cuts easily with a sharp pair of scissors. Because of the stiffness, this is pretty easy to put through a needle without using a threader, although it will not work in the very smallest beading needles. Although I don't think this works for every application, I can definitely find some uses for it, and it is superior for those uses when compared to other products, so I am inclined to give a high rating. If you are really into beadwork, you will have lots and lots of kinds of thread, cord, and wire around, but this is definitely worth having in your collection.

Stands Up to Tension and Wear
High quality, strong, and durable. This stuff was exactly what I didn't know I needed when I started loom beading. I'd compare it to a very nice fishing line but much cheaper. You get a good amount for the value, too. Absolutely the standard for beading projects that require a lot of high-tension work and durability.

Strong thread but challenging for beading.
This is a fairly strong thread for it's thin size. However, I believe it's very challenging for beading . When threading the needle it frays very easily and it tangles extremely easily. So yeah I find it a tad bit challenging to work with especially if I want to use a longer thread for brick stitch which is a thread hungry technique. I will probably stick to using this thread at very short lengths for something like an earring but for more challenging work like bracelets and necklaces, stick to the thicker threads.

Strong and Doesn't fray
So far I am pleased with this thread. So far there is no fraying, I can tug hard and it stays put and doesn't break. I will buy again for more of my beading projects.
