Sugarpill Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow, Penelope

This is probably my favorite color from sugarpill. I own 1 palette, 3 loose glitters and 2 individual eyeshadows. It has a flaky metallic consistency, and looks best when mixed with a liquid medium. It becomes a beautifully highlighting copper on my brown skin. I like to use it to highlight my eyes and cupids bow for bold lips. However beware for those with sensitive eyes. Even when wet, I found out if i get this a little too close to the inner most corners of my eyes (near my tearducts), they begin to water, burn, and create gooey eye boogers. My eyes were red for a whole day, I woke up and my eyes were almost glued shut from the crust. The eye doctor says that it hasnt damaged my sight, but my eyes have developed somewhat of an allergy to it. If even a few tiny flakes fallout, my eyes go crazy, so I have to be very careful if I use it around my eyes and make sure I remove it completely before bed. Then I don't have issues the next day.

The product itself is great, though I have concerns this may have been resealed? The sifter is missing and the powder has a strange texture.

I would have thought this would have been more refined than it is. It's a pretty shade but not what I was totally expecting. I think I will just use it on my lips vs. using it as eyeshadow.

If I could, I'd give this zero stars. The packaging it came in was so badly damaged, it wasn't even in the little box. I didn't think much of it until I opened the jar and saw there was barely anything in it! Now what was in it was more so little clumps of glitter. Even the swatch I did didn't look right!

This is a beautiful orangey copper loose eyeshadow. It is VERY metallic. It is very intense, very glamorous. It looks crumbley in the container but it is not a problem, and it is probably just the formula. To intensify the metallic aspect of this shadow, I use a bit of setting spray on a brush and pat it on over the shadow. For anyone struggling to keep any of Sugarpill's loose shadows adhered to the lids, try a glitter primer. It really works wonders.This is definitely not my last Sugarpill purchase. I love their products and always get so excited when they announce new products.

Countess has to be another one of my favorite colors from Sugarpill!!! It's a dark maroon looking one, but at the same time when you open it and move it around in the light ( like most of their eye shadows) you'll see a rainbow of colors! There are blues and teal's and fuchsias all in there to make up this lovely color and it shows!

When I got this product, I was disappointed because it wasn't the color I was expecting. Then I tried it and the color goes on darker than it looks, but I love it

I don't believe it's authentic sugarpill.
