Make sure you know your light socket specs

I just wanted to comment on the actual socket size (E39) which is much much larger than your standard socket (E26). If you're like me, you stumbled upon this item as a potential less expensive LED retrofit replacement for your power hogging pool light. Those housings are very tricky, and swap out typically is a big production. Therefore you don't have immediate access to understand if the socket will work until you turn off the electricity, pull out and disassemble the waterproof housing, in order to pluck out the bulb to see. This (E39) is not a standard bulb socket, and was too big for my pool light which just ended up taking standard bulb socket type.Just wanted to provide a hint and reference photo fyi.

A nice Mogul base lamp

A nice Mogul base lamp. I am replacing 175w HID fixtures and these are slightly dimmer but have a nice color. The lamp is advertised as 277v , but the writing on the lamp indicates it is for 120v. I am using at 277v without issue.
