There is an operation booklet with tiny print, but there's no installation instructions. It's pretty straightforward but intimidating for most folks probably. I am an engineer so I have had some experience with wiring and harnesses (though not car stereos specifically), but if you don't have any experience with these sorts of installs it is going to be pretty difficult. I only loosely installed it to see how it worked because I haven't put in the backup camera yet so I didn't bolt it in. I wasn't able to acquire satellites for GPS yet because I'm parked in a carport below my building. It's not immediately apparent how to set up the steering wheel controls, so I will have to look more closely at that. And, I don't know much about the CANBUS unit so that will probably require some Google assistance since there are no instructions. I will update my review after I finish up the installation and setup and see how everything goes.Edit: I can't get the backup camera working at all. I have tried every combination of wiring I can think of. The radio did come with a wiring diagram for the camera and I have tried both options, neither work. It's not that hard to match labeled AV and camera power wires so I'm not sure why it's not working. Since the backup camera was the primary reason for my purchase I might return this and try a different one.Edit 2: The FM radio is connected to the factory antenna but I can barely get any radio stations, even local strong ones that were no problem before. The time setting had a mind of its own and just doesn't work. If I set it to GPS time, it thinks I'm on the east coast even though it has the correct CA location. If I manually set the time, it doesn't stay set after I turn the car off. I turn it right back on and the time is something random. I can't set the steering wheel controls bc there are no instructions. Even when the radio volume is set low, an incoming Bluetooth calls rings at a startlingly loud volume. There's no apparent way to reach out to the seller. All of these issues are just too much. There are too many other options at this price point. Going back.

This was not what I expected. It came with no instructions and so many wires it was absurd. I think I needed to splice wires and I gave up at that point. Would not recommend.

Everything is good, except that the DVD drive won't accept any discs. There's something keeping the disc from going in all the way.

Daily straight forward to install- no instructions included so a little background in stereo install is helpful
