Functions Inconsistently. Notice many 5-star reviews were submitted within the month of June 2019.
I was shopping for a hands free soap dispenser and saw this item. It got my attention due to the no batteries required. For reference, I also have another soap dispenser made by Simple Human, but I wanted to try one that was not as expensive. Decided to order and try this dispenser based on customer feedback (even though it seemed somewhat suspicious to me that the product received an overall perfect 5-star rating AND most of these “customer reviews “ were submitted within the same month & year (June 2019). I really wish that Amazon would require more ethical standards for sellers in requiring them to divulge whether customer reviews have been compensated, as it does appear to be so here. I might be mistaken but I really doubt it.After following product manual directions and setting up the dispenser, I have seen it dispense soap 4-5 times consecutively within. seconds - even though no one was standing anywhere near it to trigger the sensor. This has occurred several times already and it’s not even a couple of days old! Also, the dispenser is made of a low-grade plastic material, so it will not last very long (considering the $29.99 price tag which is only about $10 less than Simple Human which is STILL working after over 1 year)! You can also expect very few follow up (longterm users) reviews as well, so longevity will be a mystery for most unsuspecting customers. The product is a great concept in that it charges with a usb cord (a first time experience for me with dispensers) so no batteries needed. However, the dispenser functions in a VERY inconsistent way....even though I diluted the soap adequately as recommended. When it works as stated, it a good product, though over-priced.I personally rely on honest customer reviews when shopping, so I just thought real customers should be aware that this product’s true functionality is NOT correctly reflected in the overall product rating. If it did work as intended, I would increase my rating score.

Good motion detection and amount of foam
I currently have a soap dispenser for the dishwasher liquid in my kitchen, and I wanted another one for the hand soap. I decided to go with a foam time since it is more convenient for washing hands. This TROPRO dispenser does not use batteries, and instead is charged with an USB cable, which I find very convenient. I used regular hand soap, and then diluted it five times with water. While shaking it, I noticed the joint between the two pieces of the soap dispenser leaked; not a problem during normal usage, but just be careful while you are shaking the soap. After that, it just needs to be turned on. I am using it in the short mode (default), and I find this to be enough soap. I noticed when I do the motion to get the soap, I need to make sure I take all of it. If I leave a string of soap hangin, when I try to clean it, the soap dispenser sensor activates again and pours more. After the first couple of times I got used to it, and now I find it a great addition to the kitchen.

stylish and foamy
I have been using automatic sensor style dispensers for a few years. The two I had was both from simplehuman brand. The first one requires 4 AAA batteries and worked well. When they came out with the USB charge, I cannot wait to get it. It turned out to be nothing but trouble for me. It is not water proof therefore the USB charge was dead within 2 months. The manufacturer said I shouldn’t get it wet at all. What is that? It is a soap dispenser at bathroom and how can it not get wet? After it is dead, I am looking for another brand to buy. This is the one I settled on for two reasons, first it is USB charge, I do not want to buy another set of 4 batteries just for this. Second, it is water proof, and third, it is foam style. I am a housewife handling raw meat always daily. It is important to have my hand clean during/between meal preps. I feel most comfortable knowing after I touch raw chicken and eggs, I can wash off without pumping any soap dispenser. One bonus for this model is you can use any kind of soap as long as you diluted it. It also makes your liquid soap goes a long way. I am thinking of getting one more for the bathroom as well. Love it.

Works but is possessed
The unit works and and has two settings for foam. I prefer the shorter one. However this unit I have also randomly shoots out soap over and over gain even when no one is in the bathroom. The sensor seems fairly buggy and will randomly pump soap out for no reason whatsoever. Good design, bad sensor.

Lightweight Automatic Soap Dispenser
This soap dispenser is clean, effective and easy to use. The motion detection works perfectly, and it comes with a USB cable for quick charging. The dispenser is super lightweight and portable, and it doesn't take up much room. Its design is modern and clean, and it fits well in any bathroom. You can adjust it to dispense however much foaming soap you want. So far, this is my favorite automatic soap dispenser!

Nice Dispenser!
The media could not be loaded. This dispenser was very easy to use. Out of the box it had somewhat of a charge so I was able to test it. It’s very sleek and futuristic design is pretty cool. It holds quite a bit of soap so I won’t really like that. It comes with the charger. I really like that also because I don’t have to buy batteries like I’ve had with other auto dispensers.
