Great sharp peeler and comfortable handle! Love to have a protective cover on the blade. Great to shred cabbage or peel raw beets with tough skin. Use with caution because of the sharp blade. My tip for easy handling of vegetables and keeping your hands away from the blade is to make a handle from a fork or a corn holder. I bought this to cut zucchini slices for some recipes that sounded interesting. It works great! Slices come out with even thickness. I also will use it to cut cucumber slices for making sandwich pickles later this year. The centered handle makes it easy to control the cut and make the slices even thickness. It works perfectly for my canning and cooking tasks.

I love butternut squash, but don't purchase it often because it's always been so hard to manage. Not only is this tool nice and compact instead of huge and bulky, it literally removes the skin of butternut squash with little effort. It just glides down the butternut squash so smoothly with ease. I do wish it came in other colors besides the purple, but it works like a charm! 💖

I didn't order this one. I plan ed to return it, but my daughter saw it and wanted to try it. I already had so I shared. But I ORDERED a large one to try on cabbage which I like thinly cut.

it's a small-to-medium sized, quite basic peeler. personally, i need a good version in every size (small/medium/large). this one fills in, in between small and medium. it's well made, goes in the dishwasher, and i like it.

Very easy to use and very sharp. Went through red and white cabbage easily with hardly no pressure. Wish I got one earlier as using a knife to cut cabbage is not for me, due to arthritis. I will have to try peeling turnip next.
