The essence of Diorissimo is natural because the fragrance is derived from a tiny - but magic - flower, Lilly of the Valley, and it evokes a scent so real that it is like burying my face in a bouquet of these freshly picked flowers.Once applied, the scent remains the same and does not change with time. Although luxurious, it is also surprisingly "wearable" and is suitable for evening occasions because of its sophistication and elegance. Memorable, unique and long lasting. Nothing startling or too loud.Just white flowers with a mildly warm base. Everyone asks what scentI am wearing. This one is classic, elegant.

I was first gifted this scent when I was about 16, by a woman I very much loved who wore it herself. It takes me back in time! I love the light floral, Lillies of the Valley predominate, and the gentle staying power. I intend to wear it daily until my entire wardrobe carries just a hint. I want it to bring thoughts of me to my grandchildren after I am no longer here! I will also be gifting it to my granddaughters for just that reason!

Amazon.com has restored two of the fragrances I wore in my youth, both of which are sensational and evoke wonderful memories for me. Diorissimo, with its light, brilliant combination of lily-of-the-valley with a slight nuance of lilac, is one of those. Dior stopped making this incredible scent years ago, and I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I had thought this was a hopeless cause -- that I would never be able to wear this fragrance again or find anything close to it. Fragrances today are so light they disappear within seconds of application -- a waste of money and time. The Houses of Dior and Jean Patou were the grand old masters of the perfume world, creating fragrances that would last with a single spritz, would not be heavy or intrusive, and smell like . . . flowers. A good thing. Thanks to Amazon for carrying this endangered species.

I need to return it it's damaged doesn't smell to nothing I'm very disappointed about that and it's expensive l want you to return my money

Again, I was looking for this fragrance for a long time. I didn't realize that it had been discontinued. To my surprise I found it on Amazon (go figure!!!). This fragrance is made from lillies I believe, but when you first spray it, it almost smells sweet. After a short time it wears down to such an exotic fragrance. I have received several compliments. I loved it years ago and love it now. You can wear it anytime. It such an enveloping fragrance, it just carries one away to exotic places. Its a great fragrance. I can now see why Christian Dior had these flowers all over his estate. Its just...dreamy...

I bought it as a gift for my mother's birthday.I know that for several years now she has loved diorissimo.She was delighted, and I with her.This delicate floral scent ... And this scent of forest lily of the valley is driving me crazy.This is an amazing perfume, I want to hear this fragrance forever ... I'm sure that more than once will acquire diorissimo.This is an excellent gift for your friend, mother, sister, wife, daughter or any woman you want to please.Do not spare money for this amazing thing, you not be disapointed , and this smell of lilies of the valley will show your love.I'm delighted with this fragrance, I definitely still get it.

This is a favorite perfume that I can now get at a "reasonable" price. It helps to be a Prime members so I don't have to pay shipping.

Found a scent different from my expectations.

...we were very disappointed when a month late we were charged $59 for "Amazon Prime Membership" which we DID NOT sign up for! We felt like we had been conned and tricked. Our business card details had been kept and used for something totally not linked to our purchase.Had we not been cautious and checking our credit card statements, this money would be gone as "daytime robbery".We feel this is utterly wrong doing on Amazon's practice.
