not cheap, does the job
I can't comment on the functionality because I have thankfully not had a fire, but it was pretty easy to work with and it hasn't crumbled out of the gap it was installed to seal. Thick enough to plug a gap and thin enough to come out of a caulk tube. That being said, even if you take the pressure off the piston while using it, because you have to push it in pretty hard to get anything to come out, the stuff does continue to come out a bit longer than other caulks. That takes a little getting used to.

Best fire caulk
This stuff was easier to use than the other brands I’ve used, so the result is better. This is important to building fire safety, so I recommend MC 150 over other brands.
