But served it's purpose.The metal is very flimsy...fine for eazy peels like carrots or cucumbers. But definitely Not made to peel harder or thicker skins. The metal bends under any pressure.I tried peeling ginger with it. The peeler head bent. The blade came off mid peel... then I cut my hand trying to put it back together. My cousin next door permanently "borrowed" the peeler I really liked, and now I can't find another. Got Kids like that?
