Alpha's Fake Omega: M/M Non Shifter MPreg Romance (Omega For Hire Book 1)

Such a sweet and moving story. A few Steamy scenes and a Happily Ever After ending. Will be reading book 2.

I really enjoyed this story. The storyline was good as was character development. It would have been near perfect if the author had used a proofreader or a different proofreader as their were too many errors to overlook. That took my rating from five stars to four.

In this book, I felt promise. The writing was great, character development was somewhat lacking in the realism aspect BUT it worked well enough. The main character and the first P. O. V is Dante, a 23-year-old "Omega for Hire". He basically works as arm candy for Alphas who doesn't want to go on parties alone. One of his clients is North, whom need an omega to "play pretend" with him; North wants to become the CEO of his family's enterprise, but the current CEO, his grandfather, won't let him until he shows his grandfather that he can manage to keep a relationship. Now, this is the first bump in the story for me. I get that North's grandfather cares for him deeply and only wants North's best, but what concerns the company and what concerns North's private life is two faaar different things. North can make a blast as a CEO even if he is single. 🙄 I mean, come on! You can't let your, what, 28-year-old grandson, whom pledged his whole life to the company, become the CEO because he is single? That's just a BAD PLOT ALERT! ⚠️ Now, Dante is hired to pretend to be North's boyfriend, and things doesn't go well when his Heat Surpressants are "lost" and he enters heat two days into the arrangement. And two days into the arrangement he possesses so bad impulse control that he has s*x with North. It's in the title of the book but hey, yeah, he becomes pregnant (obvious). 😒 Now, this is a spoiler BUT they basically say who took the pills (and raided all the pharmacies/drug stores in a 4 mile radius) 5 pages after the not-exactly-hot or even remotely exciting "s*x". North's grandfather bought all the pills from every shop in the city and held on to them so that Dante would get pregnant. What. The. Actual. Whoopsedoopsies. Whom in their right mind, one who has been the CEO of a company for like 20 years, manage to be so stupid, so outright annoyingly bullsh*tty that they force an omega (a 23-year-old, no less!) to become pregnant? Children are a responsibility for LIFE, and unless this grandfather is prepared to babysit at beck and call and cover expenses and change diapers and do it all, then he has NO RIGHT to FORCE Dante to have children in order to make North commit himself. And when it gets out that their relationship was fake, North gets a 5-year delay in his position as CEO because of it!🤨 If I was Dante, I would never have spoken to him or the grandparents ever again. I would make sure to keep him financially in my life, but he|l to the no that I was going to associate my child with their grand-grand father EVER again! Now, I'm going to chant the usual phrase: DON'T MIX SE× AND FEELINGS! NO dates 💔 NO flowers 🥀 NO cozy movie nights ✋🎥 NO walks in the park👋🏞️ NO funny baking scene 🥯✖️ And I'm supposed to believe they magically fell in love after the tragic death of Dante's mother? I would be disgusted, much less attracted, to anyone for maybe a year if my mother died. But apparently, this is the way the romance genre went to he|| and back.

When North hired an omega to help secure his inheritance, the last thing he expected was to find his soulmate. Dante' felt this opportunity came just when he needed it, he's trying to build a nest egg for when he goes home to help his sister with their sick mother. What he didn't expect was to start to develop feelings for this Alpha, but it was happening more each day. So,when Dante's mother health changed unexpectedly he had to go home. What surprised him was North's insistence to come with him,he didn't like it but finally agreed. What was really surprising when he got there was his own insistence that North accompanying inside the hospital to visit his mom. Then even though he did everything but cut North's head off,North never wavered he stood by his side and took care of him and his sister until the end. Dante didn't understand this behavior, he could see North was falling for him but he just thought it was because they had sex during his heat. North had other ideas, he was having,been having feelings for Dante that he couldn't explain. But, he came to the conclusion that their fake relationship had suddenly became very real he loved him and wanted to keep him. Come to find out they're on the same page,because once North got Dante to finally open up the truth came out that was the true beginning of their life together and their happily ever after.😍😍

What do you get when you have an alpha who wants to inherit his grandfather’s company, and Omega who needs a good paying job to see his mom before she dies, and unscrupulous grandfather who meddles in his grandson‘s omega’s affairs? The makings of a good book. Highly recommended. (Note: the grandfather's sexist actions toward his son's omega's life choices border on Republican by messing around with the availability of heat suppressants (aka birth control) for the omega and the entire city and surrounding areas and jeopardized possibly tens of thousands of both mated and unmated omegas by taking away their consent. I just feel this should have been dealt with...perhaps it will be in another book in this series though I suspect it may have been overlooked here.)

I only have one problem with this book & it'll probably be the same for all the books in the series - its to short!!! I love the characters & how the interact with each other the love & passion rates more than 5 stars!! Thank you Lori

I loved this story! A better version of Pretty Woman, in my opinion. There were so many emotional moments that I could not stop readung until the end and then I was disappointed because there was nothing more to read! It will become one of my favorites! Bravo!

A very nice fake boyfriends story, I wish we could of been them interact more before the heat set in, but still a nice one.

I love omegaverse storyline and I loved this one. I can wait to read more from this series. A great HEA ending too

North and Dante are a cute purple, the attraction is there right at the start but they fight it due to the contract there locked into but you can’t stop true love.

I Loved this sweet but sometimes angsty tale. Fake boyfriends is one of my favorites themes, this one was absolutely perfect with it's super rich man and a omega for hire, although Dante was a bit of a jerk at one point. It's a cozy story that's sadly over too soon.

When North needed a fake boyfriend, he knew Omega for Hire would have what he needed. Dante the Omega he hired stood no nonsense. I did like Dante and North. There were for a incidents that I wanted more explanation and consequences. The time jump to the birth was a surprise as I do enjoy the lead up from the announcement to the birth and I felt I did miss out on the story and more of the connection Dante and North had. This was a quick read and I am interested in knowing more from the Omega for Hire Team

Hmm... A short sweetish read. Could have been way better. The characters were actually set up really well and I liked Dante the omega. He was polished and had everything just so, I'd like to have seen him be more unhinged by the relationship and let loose. There was scope for much more in this story considering the effort taken in the opening set up.
