Good quality AND US made
I really needed a replacement (Hard anodized non stick) sauce pan, to replace an Analon that died. And if I am going to spend this kind of money, wanted it to be US made- NOT negotiable. Several months ago I bought a replacement (To replace a 10 yr old Calphalon) Calphalon Premier skillet, also hard anodized. I did research then on the manufacturing source before I bought it and again this time for the sauce pan. I called the Calphalon customer service rep. The second research validated the first. It is important to understand:1. Calphalon has several model lines, Premier, Classic, etc.2. Despite what the description specs say about China, the Premier line is the ONLY line that is (mostly) US Made. All their other lines are made in China. From a Google query: The stainless steel and cast iron Calphalon products are only produced in China. Additionally, utensils, bakeware and kitchen gadgets are also made overseas. And sadly (from research) some of the Premier is also made overseas to meet surging demand.Sidebar: Either because some of the Premier line is imported or also, some assistant is tasked to write the description of a product or product model line for an e-commerce site and they just copy and paste from one description to another and nobody bothers to edit it.3. Though the Premier line is US made, materials are "globally sourced." Which is true of almost every manufactured product these days. The difference is when using this supply chain manufacturing process, a reputable manufacturer will ensure ALL materials are QA and assay tested, before going in the manufacturing process. Shipment lots that fail are either sent back to the vendor or sold to 2nd or 3rd level companies on the secondary market. Vs just trans shipping manufactured product from over seas for direct sale to consumers4. The pan itself is not marked with manufacturing source is. But the packaging isI have been using the skillet for several months now without an issue and just received the sauce pan. So I will see what develops. Also there is also supposed to a lifetime guarantee on Calphalon products. If you have one of their products and it fails, send it back to Caphalon. Once they get enough returns on failed (imported) product, it might be wake up call to pull manufacturing back to this countryFurther edit: I received the 3.5 qt sauce pan a few days ago. As I said before it is US assembled from (US?) and imported materials- see attached images. It is thoughtfully designed- no sharp corners in the interior to trap food that then get wasted and thrown out. It does have some heft to it. Especially if loaded with food. But I expect it will last many years.

Love this Calphalon Saucepan
We already had one of these 3.5 quart Calphalon saucepans, and it works beautifully with many of our recipes so we purchased a second 3.5 quart saucepan. The 2nd saucepan blends in with the rest of our Calphalon set, and it is wonderful in the kitchen. We also like that it it dishwasher safe.

Solid 3.5 Qt pan
I really like the size and quality of the pan. But I thought it had a strainer basket inside and it doesn't. The lidhas spout for straining.

Would Buy Again
The cookware is not light weight and I have a household member who does not like the cookware for that reason. Cooking with this line of cookware has been a very good experience. The non-stick Clean up is a snap. Heats evenly and quickly. I'm sorry but cannot comment on the use of cookware in the oven just the stove-top

Really sturdy sauce pan, but heavier than I thought
The media could not be loaded. If you’re someone who struggles with wrist strength (I actually do sometimes), you might find this pot uncomfortably heavy. I’m not going to take away stars for that but I just wanted to mention it because it is much heavier than I expected and I find it a little difficult to drain noodles or dump food into serving dishes. That said, it’s a really great quality pot and it holds up fine on my gas stove. I love this brand and all the pots and pans I’ve bought have been excellent quality and long lasting.

Great pan, but not for straining pasta
Great pan, except-lid isn’t long enough to keep pasta in. We bought this because of the strainer lid, however, pasta comes out.Other than that, great size & shape.

This pot delivers with good quality and nice design. Cooks evenly and has a lid that strains. Perfect weight.
