Walking with Jesus to Calvary: Stations of the Cross for Children Hardcover – January 15, 2014

I ordered this to read to my group of young (ages 8 to 11) RCIA students during Easter. They were enthralled, and so was I. The wording is very age appropriate, the pictures are as well, and the entire Passion is explained in a way that younger children can understand without being frightened. The book worked so well for them that I also read it to my TEEN RCIA students, and they reacted the same way. I highly recommend this book for parents and teachers alike.

Beautiful book for children. Looking forward to starting a new tradition with my 4 yo nephew this Lent. Such a great way to bring the stations to life for children.

This was an excellent book for us to read with our three year old son. It helped us all to have a better understanding of the stations and what happened at each one. There are also prayers and brief stories of after Jesus's death on the cross. We will enjoy this book for many, many years.

One of the best books on the Stations for children that I have ever used. I teach 2nd grade CCD and bought this after using her book on the Rosary for our class.

Beautifully done. A bit mature for my toddlers, so I explain a lot to them as we go. They love it.

My 5 year old daughter is very content using this book to follow along on Lenten Friday's.

This book provides a beautiful explanation to a painful event in the life of Christ. My first grade religious ed class, which tends to get bored easily when being read to, was very attentive.

Wonderful pictures and story

Sadly this book is no longer in print. The pictures are beautiful and the book is well written that my 6 year old is able to understand (she cried when Jesus was nailed to the cross, although the pictures are not graphically disturbing the words tug at her heart!) and for myself it helped me understand each station of Jesus' passion. Adults will learn too and will have a better appreciation for what Jesus has done for us!
