If you mean "can you cut bolts as well as holes that are threaded" then yes. If you mean "can I cut a thread in something that allows me to do up a screw counter-clockwise" then no. Did the job really well and will be a good ‘occasional use’ piece of kit. Needed to tighten the handles on the tap and die but this was quick and easy. The box is thin plastic and the set can move around if not kept flat.
