What is the weight of the paper and is it good for fast drying felt ink pens? No smears?

It’s slightly thicker than normal notebook paper. I’ve used felt pens (not Sharpie type but Flair) with no smears or bleed through

Does this book have a table have contents where you can make notes as to what is on each page?

The very first page of the book is a Contents page where you can make notes and next to it page number. It is only one page front and back. After this is 304 pages. It also has a page marker. I use them for online Genealogy research and I love them.
